This is the perfect get away spot only 15 minutes from the pickwick dam. There is a carport for parking your boat and if you want to do a little fishing closer to the cabin the Bruton branch campground is only 3 miles away which also has a boat ramp! At the cabin you can hang out at the multiple fire pits, swing on the porch swing,and fire up that grill for a juicy meal. DVDs on site as well as multiple board games suitable for all. Run around and explore the grounds and you will find a little pebble path the kids will enjoy. The cabin is spacious and served its purpose well for our fishing trip. As has been mentioned, your cellphone service and wifi is pretty much non-existent in this location and may locations in the area so just be aware of that.
