Eight Lucky guests can call Happy Times on Park their new home away from home, where they'll make memories that will last a lifetime! Walk up-to the front porch that spans across the front of the home, which is a quintessential amenity in the south, and start your stay. Inside, you'll find that the home boasts with natural light, warm tones, and comfortable furnishings throughout. This home is truly an entertainers dream, as the open floor plan allows guests to never feel separated. The gathering room sits just off of the entrance, where everyone in your party can gather together for a movie or game night. Heading toward the kitchen, you'll find two dedicated dining spaces, both perfect for enjoying a home-cooked meal or take out! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need, including all of the modern conveniences and upgrade appliances one could ask for. Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms, each equipped with a smart television. The primary suite features a plush king size bed, graciously sized walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom, just across the hall, features a queen size bed and a large chest of drawers. The third bedroom is ideal for traveling singles or children, as this room features two twin size beds. You'll find the fourth bedroom with a king size bed, in the separate carriage house across the yard. The carriage house sits just above the garage, and includes its own fully stocked kitchen, and tastefully decorated living space with a smart television, plus full bathroom. The private back porch is perfect for sipping sweet tea while watching the clouds roll by, while your family and friends hang-out in the large yard. Whether your children or pets are running around tirelessly, or you're lighting up the grill for a cook-out, you'll have plenty of space! I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week with our family of 6 and our in-laws in the carriage house. The kitchen was well stocked. I appreciated that the cooking utensils pots and pans were in really good condition, not scratched up and old. The bedrooms were very large and accommodated our family well. If you are traveling with little ones you will need to bring all of your own supplies and be prepared to block off the staircase. I would recommend bringing some plastic dishes/cups etc as there were not any but none of that would deter us from renting again. Renting through Lucky Savannah is such a plus. There was a housekeeping issue upon checkin which was resolved within minutes of calling the help line. They gave us a late checkout and refunded our cleaning fee without us even asking. The carriage house was perfect for my in-laws. Clean and comfortable and just the right size. Having a garage was great. It was a little tricky parking in there but we got the hang of it and were able to fit our Honda Odyssey van with no problem. My siblings, their spouses and adult neices/nephews had a family reunion in Savannah, GA and stayed at Happy Times. The house was immaculate and large enough for the 8 of us to have meals together, as well as, providing a great place to stay while we explored the city of Savannah. I would have given this property 5 stars, except there were a few things that didn't rate 5 stars. The house is in an area about 7 blocks from the historic attractions of Savannah proper. It is also an "up and coming" area. Most of the homes have been renovated, but the neighbor on one side was not cutting their grass and someone else a few doors away had left an old mattress on the sidewalk that was still there when we checked out. Many of the sidewalks throughout the city are uneven and rough due to tree roots, broken/missing sidewalk blocks, etc. If your planning to walk to most of the attractions be prepared for long, tricky walks. This can be difficult for travellers with small children and anyone who may have difficulty walking. The property has a seperate apartment over the garage. The internet did not work so there was no TV. The ceiling fans were wobbling and a towel rack was loose. When I reported these things to management they were very helpful and responsive in getting them fixed. It was perfect for 8 women (all family) on a girls trip. Location was great! We walked to a lot of stuff. Grocery store is just around the corner.
