        Great stay

Very nice property. The pictures accurately described what it looked like. The bathrooms could use an upgrade but they were serviceable. The contact with the owner was amazing and he was very happy to accommodate our arrival and departure timings. Location for a visiting tourist is great. Thanks for a nice weekend with my mom!

We enjoyed the character of the home. Very comfortable accommodations. Loved the way it was furnishe

We enjoyed our stay. We would suggest that the owners add a safety bar in the tub/shower and something for the tub so that it is not slippery.

          4/5 Good

Great location within 10 minute walk of everything in historical downtown.

Charming historical house, bright and nice size rooms, comfortable beds and convenient parking for an awesome time in beautiful Savannah! Owners were very accomodating and responsive to our questions. Would definitely refer and stay again. Thank you Brandi!

              Good location

I have visited Savannah numerous times usually always in March. I’ve stayed in historic homes, carriage houses, and hotels during visits. Here is a list of Pros and Cons of this House: Pros 1. Location - convenient parking and basically across the street from Whitefield Square. 2. Ease of rental. We reserved and paid online. Received email with code to get in the house. No need to meet in person to get keys. 3. Washer/dryers is convenient (although compact due to size of the home. We didn’t have an issue with this.) 4. The high chair (used every evening), baby gates available (although it turns out we didn’t actually use them), and puzzle/toys. 5. Comfortable beds 6. The home was clean but has old tile and grout. Cons 1. Sheer curtains in the back bedroom and blinds that only go partway up in the front bedroom. The front bedroom doesn’t get dark because the streetlights constantly shine through the large space not covered by the blinds. The back bedroom is darker because it’s away from the street however there isn’t much privacy because of the sheer curtains. 2. The inconsistent heating/cooling of the house. I’ve stayed in historic homes in Savannah before but this was a major issue for me in the house. The downstairs was so cold we couldn’t enjoy it in early mornings or evenings (lows were in mid 30’s). The upstairs was extremely warm. There was no happy medium. I imagine in the summer downstairs would be comfortable but upstairs in the bedrooms would be hot. 3. The shower got lukewarm at best. It made for very quick showers. 4. The house is on a busy street so you will hear traffic and anyone walking by. Overall we enjoyed the location and the use of the high chair during our stay. We will be back to Savannah again.
