This historic building has been renovated from top to bottom with gorgeous modern finishes. It is hard to believe the home is from 1909 when you are inside! However, your immersion in Historic Savannah is just outside the door. Forsyth Park is less than a city block away from the apartment. While literally hundreds of restaurants and shops are within 2 miles of the home some of the highlights are in the neighborhood section. ​​​​​​​The kitchen, dining and living room are one large open floor plan with soaring ceilings. There is a separate bedroom with a King bed The bathroom is decorated with Anthropoligie wallpaper and vanity and newly redone from top to bottom. Designated parking for one compact vehicle and free extra parking on the public street. This unit is on the 'first floor' but stairs are still required so this is not suitable for anyone who cannot get up a few steep steps to the entry door. ​​​​​​​Guests please note: We are an "integrated partner" with VRBO/Expedia/HomeAway. Location was close enough to downtown to walk to most attractions without being caught in the middle of all the touristy spots. The apartment was spacious with everything you needed and was just as cute as the pictures. In unit washer and dryer was HUGE because I was running a marathon and need to be able to wash clothes. Also kitchen was stocked with most cooking needs/pots/pans to make meals at home. Street parking was easy and you get one back lot parking spot. Only thing was, we got unlucky staying at the same time as what sounded like a bachelorette party or some girls weekend.
