Located on Beautiful Jones Street in the Historic District! One King Bedroom Suite + 2nd King Bedroom Suite! ​​​​​​​Gorgeous c1875 Savannah Brick Home! Great care was taken in making this home comfortable and beautiful for modern day visitors while maintaining as many original details as possible. Situated between Forsyth Park (0.4 miles south of the house) and the River (0.7 miles north of the house) Jones Street is known as the prettiest street in Savannah. The 2 bedrooms each have their own private attached bathroom, making this the ideal house for 2 couples traveling together. There is also an expansive main floor with living room, dining room, kitchen and half bath. A fantastic back porch completes the package. A beautiful authentic Savannah house located in the most sought after section of downtown, the true 'Historic District'. Sleeping arrangements on the upper floor consist of a master bedroom with King bed and huge luxury bathroom attached, a 2nd bedroom with King size bed and attached private bathroom. Each bedroom has its own flatscreen cable television. High end leather sofa is a pullout queen sofa bed in living room allows the house to sleep 6 (4 adults and two extra guests under 18 years of age). Modern luxury kitchen is fully equipped with plates, glasses, silverware, pans and cooking utensils. Floorplan of the downstairs is ideal for socializing, with the dining room, living room and kitchen all open to one another including a bar in the living room looking into the kitchen. The location on beautiful Jones Street is in the Historic District of Savannah. Walk to anything downtown!! Close to Forsyth Park, Kroger (grocery store), a huge selection of restaurants, boutiques, bars and all that the Historic District has to offer. Private back porch with fans and luxurious outdoor seating overlooking the lower apartment's patio. Parking is free and easy on the street right outside the house. This house is a traditional 3 story Savannah Brick townhouse. You are looking at the listing for the main house which is consists of the upper 2 stories of the home. The ground floor of the house is a separate/independent one bedroom apartment with its own entrance. If you have any questions about the setup of the house please feel free to call. Beds are comfortable and we liked the kitchen. A/C and heat worked well. Place was clean. The washer and dryer was available to use and we like having the half bath in the main area by living room. The host communicated with any questions I had right away. I like the location and it’s a quiet safe area. Not too far away from downtown and closer to Forsyth park. Parking was sometimes a little bit of a hassle trying to find parking out front so we didn’t particularly like that however we made it work. I like the touch of gifting a bottle of wine to us as their guests. I thought that was very nice. There was no iron but Mary the host immediately had one delivered day within two hours. I would definitely stay here again. Beds were comfy maybe just need a couple more firmer pillows and blankets. The primary bathroom was cold and you could feel cold air coming in through the window next to the commode but the home does have good heating and the rest of the house felt warm. We do close the bathroom door when we sleep at every property since we use a night light so possibly why it stayed cold in there. Like I mentioned on another property review- I do wish owners would consider decorating for Christmas with a tree during this time period. It would’ve been even cozier but that’s just a personal preference. Also I loved that it had a lot of fireplaces however there was no option to have a fire going so that was a little bit of a downer. Check in was super smooth. The house itself was very charming, had all the kitchen essentials we needed, and was the perfect amount of space for a family of 4\.
