The listing's location couldn't be better: 15-minutes from Tybee Beach and 10-minutes from Downtown Savannah. You can also reach all the best foods, shopping, and bars on Wilmington Island by a short 3-minute drive. Each camper sleeps up to four guests comfortably. Come and make our home your travel hub in Savannah! The Space: The listing includes two Airstreams capable of sleeping five people each. These campers are very modern and outfitted with the amenities of a home. The house is a large four-bedroom and four-bathroom home decorated in a coastal theme to go with Savannah's Marsh. The space is cozy and inviting, perfect for family reunions, bachelorettes, or simply touring our beautiful city. The home combines coastal decor with a traditional look and a serene landscape that will help you decompress from the pressures of daily life. It is light, welcoming, and fresh - casual yet sophisticated - all in one. You have easy access to all the food, shopping, and attractions of Wilmington Island, Savannah, and Tybee Island. Disclaimers: \-The home sits next to the main road, so you may hear traffic during peak hours. This is usually not disturbing to our guests, but we like to disclose it upfront. \-Registered pets are only allowed in the house - never in the campers. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property, which includes a gazebo and a hot tub. We invite you to relax and enjoy the hot tub. Turn the water temperature up an hour prior to use until water is at a comfortable level (we recommend between 98 and 99 degrees). When not in use, remember to turn the water temperature to a slightly cooler level (90 degrees is a good choice). Please ensure the cover is over the hot tub while not in use - this will help maintain the temperature so it is readily available when you want it. No children under the age of 12 are permitted in the hot tub at any time. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) states that becoming overheated in a hot tub during pregnancy is not recommended. When using the hot tub, remember that there are certain health risks associated with using the amenity. use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill, and replenish chemicals in the tub prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later in the evening. Additionally, the hot tub is professionally serviced weekly by a certified spa maintainer. This usually takes place on Fridays. Lastly, Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not rated or designed to support a person or persons. Please, do not stand or sit on the hot tub cover as it will break and cause you to be charged for a replacement. Remember, when not using the hot tub, leave the cover on so the water can remain warm. The Neighborhood: The property sits on the corner of Blue Heron Dr and Quarterman Dr. There are a total of 1.4 acres of private property with no immediate neighbors on the front, back, or either side of the house and campers. Be aware that Quarterman Dr. is a primary road that connects Wilmington Island with Highway 80, so you might hear typical traffic sounds, especially during high traffic hours (morning and evening). Getting Around: The house is conveniently located in Wilmington Island, which is halfway between Tybee Island (15-min) and Downtown Savannah (10-min). You can easily Uber/Lyft to either side if you're not interested in driving around - but you will definitely need transportation to get around as the roadways are not walkable due to the lack of sidewalks. There is a very nice Kroger grocery store approximately a mile from the house. In the event of an emergency, you can go to Urgent Care 24/7 in Whitemarsh (6-minute drive). The Chatham County Police Precinct is approximately 2.5-miles. And the closest fire emergency station is 2.5-miles away. Other Things to Note: Please be aware that even though we spray for bugs on a quarterly basis, you might see palmetto bugs, wasps, and other insects during your stay. Please do your best to keep them out of the house by keeping the windows and doors shut at all times, only eating at the bar or the dining room, and keeping trash in the trash can. Trash bins are located at the end of the driveway, on the right side. Also, know that guests will have to climb stairs to access the main property. Please refer to the listing's pictures for additional details. Interaction with Guests: We are always available to our guests via the app messenger service. Guests can also call or text us directly anytime. You might see us from time to time either conducting yard work, servicing the hot tub, or tending to other property matters. I was the best man and crashed in one of the airstreams with a couple buddies. We all slept pretty comfortably, there is something about being in them and we had a blast goofing around. Also a good place to get away from the group for a snooze. Huge yard was great for hanging out, grilling and playing some yard games. My buddy who lives locally said it was one of the best rentals he had seen in the area. Heard the suburbs outside the city can be rough, but this was definitely a good part ##### Christian C. It had everything needed to relax & feel like you are in your own wooded oasis; while being a short drive from food & groceries. It was a perfect spot to enjoy both Tybee Island & all the Savannah had to offer. We packed a lot of adventure into our short stay & the recommendations from the owners helped to make our time & money well spent exploring Savannah.
