It is about 1 mile to the river. We did walk but we also did Uber if we were tired. It is close to the park. There are several restaurants within walking distance. There was plenty of street parking as well as one spot in the back. It was nice to have your own kitchen if needed although we did not cook and the living room had plenty of space to relax. The location is not right in the really busy area near the river byt close enough to the downtown attractions. The owners were very receptive, texting and even mailed me back an item that I left in the unit. They are also pet friendly which I appreciated as I traveled with the dog.
