Sauze d’Oulx is a beautiful ski town in the Italian Alps, known for its amazing slopes, scenic trails, and lively après-ski atmosphere.  
  
The date for switching on the heating is 1 November until 30 April  
  
For non-skiers, tourists can indulge in a spa day, winter walks, helicopter sightseeing, etc. One can also take a short chairlift ride to Sportinia ski station, where you can enjoy lunch while watching skiers and snowboarders. For nature lovers, Gran Bosco National Park is just a 10-minute drive away, offering snowshoe trails for all levels, from easy 45-minute walks to longer 2-hour routes. You can also book off-piste skiing trips or a helicopter tour to explore the stunning Alps from above.  
  
Just 40 minutes away is Briançon, the highest town in Europe, where you can explore shops, cafes, and historic architecture. Turin, only an hour’s drive, offers chocolate and wine tastings, cheese and ham tours, and a chance to try the famous Bicerin, the traditional chocolate drink whose recipe was and still is consumed in these \\'800 century cafès. With Turin Airport just 90 minutes away and public transport close by, Sauze d’Oulx is a perfect mountain escape for both adventure lovers and those looking to relax in nature.
