The cabin needs a little bit of a cozy touch, there were some frames in the walls that you can noticed were removed, it just needs to be decorated a little bit but it’s not a big deal. We had the best time and they were so attentive and responsive, we had an issue with the water heater and they came at 10 pm to fix it really quick. Loved the view and it’s closed to Helen town. The internet service was slow, the kitchen needs some specific items like a pressure cooker and rice cooker. And last but not least the mattresses of the beds was very uncomfortable, to the point that we went to Walmart to buy a inflatable twin bed for one of the beds in the upper level room. They keep you informed about your trip the entire time and are ready to help if you need any assistance with anything that may come up. They have many properties to choose from and i saw several during my stay and they are all very well kept up and clean. I stayed at Sautee Sunrise and the cabin was more than enough for my group of 7\. I used the grill outside and enjoyed a fire by the chiminea. The inside was comfortably kept warm with the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped, having everything we needed when cooking dinner and breakfast several times. Everything was clean and it was like I was home away from home. We enjoyed watching several deer pass right by each evening. I would definitely stay at this property again. I do recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle as it is very steep with little area to back up. The beds were not comfortable at all. I suggest getting mattress toppers. Not enough toilet paper. The handle on the kitchen sink was broken. Trip hazard in the hall in front of the bathroom. The flooring edge stuck up a bit. Some of the other people that stayed with us said the shower curtain had mold on it and there were what seemed to be blood stains on the wall.
