Hotel D has a wonderful location. Our room was very clean. Our only issue is the room was very small and once we got our luggage in, there was not much space to move around. I would stay here again but upgrade to a larger room.

It was in a great location and easy to get around to all the sights and many restaurants. It was clean and relatively comfortable. The only issue we noted was that some of the lights and electrical was not working very well.

Gem in Basel
Very friendly and helpful staff! Clean and great location for walking, taking buds or tram or viewing river! We loved it! Will definitely come back if we are ever again in Basel. Lots of close by restaurants.

The hotel was lovely. The room was comfortably appointed and sufficient size for our if backpacks. The staff were very helpful. They explained the public transport system very well. Including walking outside with me to point us in the right direction.

Great location. Convenient to get almost anywhere in the old town area and across the river. Hotel staff were helpful, clean, safe. This was a great choice for a 1 night stay prior to our cruise.

This hotel provided a large room for my family after a cruise and we were allowed to check in early. It had an elevator which was useful for our luggage. The breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable and there was a large bathtub. The hotel also provided us with complimentary passes to some museums. It was an excellent property and wish we could have stayed longer.

Great experience, highly recommend.
Perfect location, lovely staff. Everyone we interacted with was terrific. This is in the perfect spot, convenient for all the busses and trams with plenty of dining and shopping nearby. It was the best option for our needs and we're glad we chose it. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied too, so we got our day off to a good start. Loved it and highly recommend it.

I found the hotel to be perfectly placed to be in easy access of all of Basel beautiful areas and restaurants bars n coffee shops the only problem if it was a problem was the breakfast area was just to small . But in general i loved it !!

A perfect location to explore both sides of Altstadt! Take a right out the doors of the hotel and the Munster is just minutes away. The shopping streets are close by with a variety of dining options. The Coop market is also nearby with lots of grab and go meals. The staff of Hotel D was very helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet options had something for everyone. I greatly appreciated the Basel card given which gave me discounted entry fees for many museums and the zoo. This is a lovely boutique hotel where you are treated as a special guest.

Top Notch
Couldn't ask for a better reception desk. Got us checked in, explained everything thoroughly and even lent us a converter when ours didn't not work. Very clean and easy to navigate around hotel. Great location.
