The beaches were a short drive away, ranging 10-20 min, and the beach chairs and umbrella that were provided helped immensely to lighten the things we brought. The deck and large kitchen provide ample space to eat/drink/entertain. It is where we spent most of our time. The bedrooms were a perfect size, and the basement area provided a quiet place from the main area. There are a/c units in each bedroom and the dining room. The sounds of the frogs echoed in our dreams each night. The house, just north of Bonnet Shores is located near a bagel shop, severa pharmacies convenience stores and a liquor store, with easy access to many beaches on 1A to the south and the charming village of Wickford to the north. It is well appointed with a modern kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Beds were all very comfortable. Ongoing upgrades are underway. The basement bedroom and shower are fine for teens. There is a nice yard in front for the kids to play games in the evening. There is a large quiet neighborhood to get in some walking. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. The furniture is older in the house butbwas to be expected from the reviews and the pictures, except the kitchen was updated and very nice. . We spent much of our time outside on the deck area of the house overlooking the pond. Lovely and quiet neighborhood setting made this property a relaxing home base for our visit to Rhode Island. The many oceanside and inner state attractions we enjoyed were all just a short ride away. The owners were very responsive to our many inquiries and communications leading up to, and during our stay.
