The curtains in my room were very stained, and I noticed the hot water in the shower kind of went in and out. However, overall, everything good! Staff were all very personable and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Booked superior room with garden view but poor view and v noisy with road and bar opposite we had room 246 odd no rooms overlook park i would request these next time No air con so v hot Buffett breakfast was good staff friendly They are installing air con in the next year

A single night stay.
The beds were very comfortable & totally different to other pre-Covid stays at the Group's hotels. We were given a twin bed standard room, though the Reception staff offered the unsuitable Disabled room. It does seem to be peculiar for a hotel with 50plus rooms to have only ONE disabled room - there was (once again) a double/large bed ... totally unrealistic for many who are disabled or who travel with a helper/assistant. Single beds need to be part of these specific facilities. Also, it would be useful for someone who is actually disabled to advise of minimum requirements. These suggestions have been at many Accor Group hotels & very few can realistically accommodate disabled guests with a true understanding of what "disabled" means to those individuals who do travel. .

The only thing that was positive about this stay was it was located in a great little town of Angers, France beside a gorgeous park. The staff manager was horrible! She canceled our bookings, then threw a staff person under the bus blaming them, then got us our rooms but the rooms were filthy, there was a large stain on the carpet right by the head of the bed it looked like blood or very dark wine. Cigarette burns on rugs. We asked to change rooms. She gave us a prestige room but it was identical except it had a coffee machine and mini bar that consisted only of water and pop. At least if it’s to be a prestige room make it different. She promised a couch. No couch. Kept making excuses. When we checked out she gave us our breakfasts for free. Trying to make up for it. But damage was done. She was the worst manager I’ve ever seen by not ever taking responsibility and always blaming others and not taking our concerns seriously. We wrote to our agent who then in turn relayed our concerns and she only said it was the best she could do. Never stay at this hotel! Just terrible. The bar manager and the cleaning staff were very pleasant. Just not the manager.

Lots of construction surrounding a nice hotel.
Excellent hotel and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The only issue with the hotel right now is the construction of the new tram line and the renovation of the congress centre. Both situations leading to a very difficult check-in especially at night.

Keep away from this hotel
There is nowhere to drop luggage off as the front of the hotel is a building site. It is dirty outside and noisy inside and out, with drills and hammering from 8am each morning. Nearest parking is now 300 meters away and more expensive than the hotel parking was when it was available. Both the hotel and Expedia have known about this for at least 9 months, but we were only advised by an email attachment sent 3 days before our arrival. This gave us 48 hours notice to cancel and book another hotel, but we were travelling daily so this wasn't a realistic option for us. Expedia could have made this known before we booked, so due to this sub standard service we will use neither Expedia nor Mercure hotels again.

The hotel outside is under construction. The exterior was completely dark and extremely difficult to find. I arrived very late and had to call the hotel to have someone guide me to the destination.

Nice hotel in midst of a major referb
Ok room and pleasant staff. But the hotel is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment. We'd specifically booked this hotel as according to the website it has a car-park. That car park is currently closed, as is the main reception and much of the public areas. The replacement carpark is a public parking lot about 400m away for which we were given an exit ticket that did not work. Building work with associated noise & dust commences at 7am. There was a storm whilst we were at the hotel and temporary reception flooded making access into and out of the property hazardous. In short, this will probably be a decent hotel when the work is completed, but in the meantime be warned!

Perhaps in 2 years time.
We were here last season & enjoyed our stay. We chose this hotel because of a previous experience / secure parking / location. When we drove up this time it looked like a "Bomb site". The attached Congress Centre under extreme renovation.! Hotel carpark closed for the duration - hotel directed us to underground car park up the road & gave us a ticket for 1st night. The Room is "tired" - needs a renovation of it's own - probably to be done after the Congress Centre have finished their work.? They started work at 06.55 - no alarm call needed.! Did not take breakfast at hotel. Major work outside hotel with a new Tram route under construction. Nicolas - who was there at Reception is a gem.! Accor should close this hotel down for a complete renovation of it's own and give Nicolas a well earned holiday...!!! I would hate to have to deal with the situation & clients and keep a smile & be polite like he does.! To be honest - Don't stay here until major work on the congress centre has been finished AND Accor have renovated the Mercure Hotel.

Close to everything
Hotel is in a good location, an easy 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Also short walk to tram/light rail stops. Staff are excellent especially in reception. Very helpful which is especially appreciated as I have a very basic knowledge of French. Very good breakfast.

A well presented and professionally run hotel.
We greatly enjoyed our one night stay in this excellent hotel. From the beginning, with the easy parking in the basement, to the excellent breakfast to see us on our way the next morning, we felt completely comfortable in our spacious room.

I highly recommend that the hotel invest in fitted sheets for the mattresses. The sheet I slept on was not fitted and kept sliding around the mattress whenever I moved in my sleep--I woke up sleeping directly on the mattress. Otherwise the hotel was quite good

Explore Angiers
We spent two nights in this hotel to take time to explore Angiers. It was a 15 minute walk to the town, the hotel was comfortable and really suited our purposes well.

First time to France and Angers...
We stayed here after staying in a Mercure hotel in Paris. Really enjoyed it. Great location within walking distance of the whole of the town center. It's also right across the street from what appeared to be the most popular pub in town. It's also right next door and overlooks a beautiful park and garden. Great place to stay.

No service in the restaurant or coffee bar at weekends !! However, the breakfast on the Sunday morning was copious with plenty of choice. Great view of the park from the restaurant. Excellent underground secure car parking facilities.

A Great Stopover
Stopped here on the way back to Calais. Location is great for a night out in Angers, small walk to all the bars and restaurants. Room was clean and well decorated. This was a surprise as the hotel itself looks aged and thought the room was going to be a throw back to the 80's. Overall a very good stay.

Good base for exploring Angers
We chose this hotel as it was one of the few in central Angers to have a private, secure, car park. The only negative point is that the hotel's bar & restaurant are closed on Saturday & Sunday, as it is primarily a business hotel. This did mean, however, that it was very quiet at the weekend and we were not disturbed by noise from other guestrooms!

Overall good, just 2 blocks to the tram. My room was at the front of the hotel and the traffic noise was quite loud in the evening and morning, but that's the pay off being near the centre of town.

Stayed one night. The room rate was high at 150 euros but It was a last minute ... Rooms fine, bed large shower ok but a little weak. Breakfast ok, but lots ran low or ran out and no staff about to replenish. Check out was slow, check in was slow, but this seems common at Mercures? Overall an average stay

Nothing bad or great about this one. It did the job and was reasonably priced. Do note our rented GPS missed it by 1/2 block. Good to have parking (10EU). Breakfast was average. Room was very servicable. The front desk people were nice and helpful. Do not miss the apocolypse tapestry at the main castle in town.

Good view, but very small rooms
We got the very small room for 4 people with view over Paris. There is good parking under the hotel and OK breakfast. On our arrival the toilet was broken and staff repaired it during 1 hour while we were waiting for them to be finish. Very dirty toilet and bathroom need renovation. We got free high speed Internet in our package, but it was not in the room. I will not recommend this hotel and I will not stay her.
