The cabin itself was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate our large group.The downstairs playroom was a huge hit with the kids! It was great having a dedicated space for them to enjoy, and while some of the games and equipment showed signs of past enjoyment, it didn’t detract from the experience.What truly set this stay apart was Misty’s kindness and support. During our visit, the surrounding area experienced unprecedented flooding, and she went above and beyond to keep us informed about road conditions and the safest routes when it was time to leave. The house was perfect for our family and our friend’s family to meet up for some H&M trail exploration. The kitchen was spacious and stocked enough to make breakfast and play games. The front porch was my personal favorite-so peaceful and such a view. We enjoyed watching the turkey and deer and fire flies at dusk. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice.
