The place was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and had so many thoughtful touches that made it feel extra comfortable and homey. I really appreciated all the small details, like plenty of hooks for towels and clothes (such a simple thing that makes a big difference!), and noise machines in every room—which were a huge help at bedtime. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to games for the whole family. The kids had an amazing time swimming in the river—it was definitely a highlight of the trip. The beds are large, two of the bedrooms have attached bathrooms, the upstairs bedroom is a cozy private getaway within the getaway. Noor left a bag of very nice coffee which we were happy to use. The town of Saugerties also seems to have a lot of shopping options, including a DSW! This is a very secluded location, and all facilities have to be driven to, it is not for you if you like the convenience of urban downtown type spaces.
