Sit back and relax on the balcony overlooking the Kalamazoo River and downtown. Restaurants and Bars are steps away just outside your door. This apartment has a King bed and a queen pullout sofa to sleep 2 comfortably or 4 with 2 on a pullout couch. The bathroom has a stand up shower. Come and enjoy all of what downtown Saugatuck has to offer day and night! Parking is available in any legal parking spot on the street. Private parking is not available. By renting this apartment you are agreeing to the following rules: (All of our rules are strictly enforced) 1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking. 2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. 3.) Do not move the furniture. 4.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property. 5.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately. 6.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility. 7.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items. 8.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. Drinking games are not allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm. 9.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed. 10.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage. 11.) Fireworks are prohibited on the property at all times. 12.) Please note to read the street signs in the winter months as you must park on certain sides of the street on certain days for the snow plows. \*Disclosure: There may be cameras with sound at outside entrances of cottages ONLY. These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. You are right in the heart of Water St. Restaurants, shops, water views, boat rentals, entertainment right outside of your door. The balcony is such a great touch- you can sit and enjoy beautiful views and people watching. The inside of the property is lovely. Very clean and enough space for a family of 4\. Tons of natural light. I will say in an effort to be efficient with space, you do miss out on a dishwasher and an efficient stove. Don’t plan on preparing extravagant meals. Communication with the host got off to a rough start- I was having trouble with the payment portal. There is a phone number, but I never got a call back. I did finally get an email and text that were helpful- not sure if it’s because I asked VRBO to help. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend! ##### Allyson R. The property was very nice and in a great location. Very cute apartment and it had all the basic needs available. The only real complaint was the stairway…it is VERY squeaky and loud. So if everyone is sleeping and you decide to get up in the middle of the night you have to go down the loud squeaky stairs and everyone will wake up. It’s also not safe if you have small kids. We have a 5 year and constantly had to watch she didn’t fall. Also the bedroom alarm went off in the middle of the night. Nothing came of it, it was just loud and startled us.
