Had a few visitors (cocktoaches) which we were expecting from previous reviews - it was a bamboo hut in the jungle afterall - it meant we never fully relaxed. Mosquito nets did their jobs at night and fans worked. Hut was very dark and one of the sets if lights didnt work. Bedding didnt feel particularly clean -bottom sheet had rips in. Breakfast at resort was a pricey option of toast or cereal with yoghurt. Sunrise Beach was beautiful and resort next door was lovely for breakfast / lunch. Les falta algo para sentarte dentro al cambiarte y perchas. Mucho ruido del poblado gitano y lo tienes que atravesar todo para llegar a los tenderetes y calle principal. No tenían teléfono de contacto ni mail en la ficha de expedia y cuando llegamos, no había nadie para recibirnos (check-in). Wifi no funciona (te dicen que había problema el día de antes pero de los 3 días no funcionó ni uno solo) La playa, con muchísimos barcos, mar muy movido y pocas sombras. El servicio de bar/restaurante lentísimo, un día me dejaron sin comer porque después de esperar una hora y pico, resulta que no habían pasado nota a cocina de mi pedido, eso si, cocinan bien, aunque la camarera no se entera (no sabe inglés aunque dicen hablar inglés, español, francés y tailandés). Abbiamo soggiornato al Forra Diving Resort a Sunrise Beach per 5 notti. È stato meraviglioso! La location è perfetta a pochi passi dal mare nel punto in cui il mare è più bello, pieno di pesci e di coralli! Il bungalow tutto di bamboo era molto bello e pulito. L’atmosfera in generale era perfetta molto rilassata e serena. Il personale è gentilissimo e sempre pronto a dati suggerimenti sull’isola: ristoranti, attività e posti da visitare. Il resort ha anche un ristorante sulla spiaggia che è buonissimo (consigliamo i panini che erano deliziosi) con cucina thai ma anche occidentale. È arredato con tavoli e sedie di legno intagliato che sono molto belli ma anche con “bean bags” che sono perfetti per stare rilassati guardando il mare con un bel drink. No enough towels on resort to change every day you may want to bring your own. As expected a lot of mosquitos - but the beds are well netted so you will sleep well with fan. Great location 1 minute walk from beach. Huts clean and good mosquitoe net - love outdoor bathroom. Others have commented re mosquitos (it'a Thailand!) worse between 530-730pm cover up/use bug cream. There is music most nights from the local village but it never bothered us.....and seemed to go off by 11ish. Auf dem Balkon genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten und eine Hängematte. Bad ist geräumig, die schöne outdoor Dusche liefert leider nur kaltes Wasser und es gibt kein Toilettenpapier. Keinerlei Toileteries. Der Garten rundherum ist sehr schön und gut gepflegt, verhilft durch geschickt gepflanzten Sichtschutz eine gewisse Privatsphäre. Das Personal war präsent, half bei Fragen weiter und bestellte Taxi. Kein Tourservice oder Ferryticket Buchung möglich. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass kein grosses Interesse bestand..... Die Lage ist super, in zwei Minuten am Strand (wo auch das angegliederte Tauchzentrum und ein dazugehöriges Restaurant ist) aber trotzdem super privat und idyllisch im schönen Garten gelegen. The noise was so bad we had to get sleeping tablets from the pharmacy to be able to sleep. From 6am untill midnight the village which is just behind the huts blasts out dance hits and an unbelievably loud volume. We followed the source of the noise thinking it would lead to a club and it genuinely just led to a small hut with very large speakers. When it rains it is extremely difficult to get to the huts. It becomes a dirt track and we had to wade through the water several times. The hotel is basic which for us was okay. You get what you expect. We did have frogs and bugs come through the bamboo which was a pain but not unexpected. The showers are out in the open so you do sometimes catch a glimpse of someone bathing too. The resort will not provide you with toilet paper. We asked for it and they said no. When we asked where we could buy it they said they would rather we didnt because "European people cant remember not to put it in the toilet". I thought this was incredibly rude and insulting. When you do want to talk to someone about issues you are met with a lot of people smoking weed and eveyone having a say on what your problem is - its not even clear who works there and who is just there to get stoned. Overally I would avoid this place at all costs. The bungalow was good comfortable and clean stay. On our arrival we found a cat under the bed, which didn't bother us too much, but he and onether cat kept returning. Other than that it was very clean. The bed had a mosquito net around it at all times. There was a fan fitted in the room, however it didn't work too much and the room got very hot, especially in the net. The bathroom is located outside the back of the bungalow. The toilet and sink are under a shelter but the shower is open. The location is very good. The reception is on Sunrise beach and the bungalows are just behind, less than a 2 minute walk. Garden was very nice, about 100 meters from the beach. In the evening there was a lot of noise coming from a festival about 400 meters from the terrain. At saturday night they played loud music from 07.00 PM till 02.15 AM.
