The farmhouse was welcoming and quaint. The host even left home-baked cookies on the kitchen table. The property was very clean and well kept. It was perfect for us. I am a senior with mobility issues, but it was easy to manage with a walker. My husband & service dog loved it too (especially the big field for training & playing. It was perfect! This charming cottage is a gem, and Barb and Glenn are fantastic hosts. Easy access to shopping and other amenities (farmers markets), yet quiet and peaceful. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, and the hemlock floors are beautiful. High speed internet provides business and streaming connectivity. The Butler-Freeport rail trail is just around the corner for biking or easy walking / running.
