Luxury hotel offering high level of comfort, peace and tranquillity, set in a lovely garden on a hill overlooking Barcelona. Although, out of the main tourist areas, it is very convenient for the Metro and buses into town. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, including providing us with a kettle to make tea in our room. Spa facilities, including pool are on offer as well as a 2* Michelin restaurant. It is, however, very expensive.
The hotel has very nice, tidy facilities. The location is great, close to restaurants, metro station and shopping streets. The room was very clean, beds comfortable BUT it was a little small and uncomfortable for 3 people.
The emblematic Balmoral Hotel, recently renovated, enjoys a privileged location in the crossing between Via Augusta and …More
This is a nice hotel. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Nice breakfast- you can order eggs cooked to order, if you like. Rooms are good. Beds are comfortable and clean . The bathroom had some mold in the grout, but otherwise was acceptable.
The experience was overall fantastic. On arrivel we were checked in very quickly. We had some great meals on the same street as the hotel. The location was perfect for walking.5 minutes away from both bus and metro.I would return to this location when next in Barcelona
A predominantly upmarket residential neighbourhood, Sarria-Sant Gervasi’s principal thoroughfare is the Diagonal, the city’s primary business and commercial district. The area is good for shopping with two branches of El Corte Inglés department store and L’Illa Diagonal mall. Neighbouring Gràcia (east) is best for a more local eating, drinking and shopping experience while and Pedralbes (north) is also well worth a visit.
