No 1st floor rooms due to renovation. Had we known, would not have chosen this location. Problems walking. Room had only 1 facecloth & no hand towels. Bed was new & quite comfortable. Do not plan to stay here again.

this hotel should be condemned!!!!!!!
I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone not even my worst enemy. At first sight the room looks okay, but then you find disturbing things. There is a blood stain by the the light switch in the bathroom. There is scale on the wall behind the toilet indicating a serious past water leak. You open the microwave and find it filthy inside. You turn down the bed and find dirty sheets. When the sheets are being replaced you se the pillows are very yellow with age. You turn on the water and it comes out pee yellow. DON'T THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE!!!!!!!

While under renovation, reduce the price because certain expected basics like hot water were not available at least in my room. There was no toilet paper, no rod to hang clothes and the shower tap didn't turn. The curtain rod fell off the window, the bathroom door was missing a hinge and the security lock on the door into the room was broken. The staff were quite willing to fix things when asked but clearly this hotel is only adequate . You will be dry and warm, have a bed to sleep in and cold water but don't expect much else. The location is its best feature.

Nothing was unique. The telephone in the room didn't work and despite repeated promises to fix it, nothing was done. The room was not made up the second day. The free breakfast next door was good though. The front desk staff were friendly but not especially helpful. The room was clean and had been renovated. The building needs a lighted sign out front so you can find the driveway at night. Likely we would not stay there again.

I left this hotel ! This is unacceptable! First room smelt like cat urine so bad i threw up! The second rooms toliet wouldnt work and there is hair all in the bed!

Not happy with the facility at all. due to unforseen event from the border between US and Canada. I have to get a place to stay and with the price is the cheapest among all the hotels and motels and with the great name then you think it is safe to stay.. Guess again.. one time is enough for me this time.

Our hotel room looked like a jail cell, our sheets had stains and there was no such thing as an ice machine, let alone a bucket.

How is this motel still in business?? The room was awful. I’ve never stayed in a dirtier room, ever. Would have left if we didn’t check in so late. The bathroom was disgusting, with a shower so dirty you couldn’t even shower. And there was NO hot water. The sheets were stained and dirty, coffee maker was full of dust. Paint peeling, dirt in every corner and certain the room wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. Not to mention the exposed wiring in the curling moulding. Just awful. How is this a Travelodge?!

The building doesn't offer any place for breakfast. Was raining day. The bathroom ceiling paint was pilling, and to get hot water, I had to open the faucet for a little time, and wasting water for nothing. We arrived around 9pm, we had a hard time to find out the building...poor sign, completely off. Also by 1am, I heard lot noises from Hallway from drunk guests. We're not going back to that place.

Numerous problems, housekeeping either didn't clean the room as the previous guest loofa was still hanging in the shower, NO HOT WATER in shower, signage not lite - place hard to find in the dark, control knob in fridge broken and fridge was on high froze all our food for the duration of our stay, pain on walls were peeling, furnace smelt like it was burning, continental breakfast isn't till 830 so that wasn't happening when you are there on a job and have to be at the job location for 730 and the list goes on..... went to front desk and told them was told they would have it all taken care of and / or move me rooms - nothing happened

We enjoyed our stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Sarnia. This property is conveniently located on the edge of Sarnia, so easy to locate. The staff I are friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This property is very clean and quiet with restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend this property and we will be back for future stays.

Good price but seriously needs air freshner
The hotel is a bit old but the room has a nice decoration, good space for a family of three and super comfortable beds. The linen and towels were clean. The main issue for me was the bad smell, a mix between bleach and humid basement. There were also tons of fruit flies all over the washroom and the room. We bought a fly trap and some air freshner because we couldn't stand the smell and the flies. The appliances were old and the microwave was dirty (I did not use it). There is no coffee maker in the room. It was awesome to find a pet friendly hotel for a low price but not the best experience for us.

Place was fine and modern but not very clean. Had to get someone to come sweep my room. Real messy looking room or office beside the lobby. No phone in room. Breakfast doesn't begin til 8:30. Jeez. Two tiny towels in bathroom only. They could do much better with a little work.

Renovations have cleaned up this hotel, but so many things were left unfinished and the workmanship was pretty poor. Towels were stained and dirty and some of the lights and power receptacles were not functioning correctly

Tiny little room with tiny attached bathroom. Being renovated so was not very clean. There was something splattered on the cabinets in our room even though when we arrived the smell of Pinesol was over powering. Site says soundproof rooms but they aren't. Our wooden door even had a hole in it where they drilled in the wrong spot for the peep hole and didn't bother to even try to cover it up. Staff were nice.

The staff was really disrespectful I asked an extra pillow and I would rather the person say the he could give me. I waited for 20 min when I come back to see what happened he was on his phone watching a game. Next day the breakfast didn’t have a coffee never see a breakfast without coffee awful.
