Our family had an amazing stay at Villa del Bosque! Guillermo, Alessandra and the team were all so welcoming, attentive and quick to respond to our questions and provide suggestions for activities, places to eat and beaches to visit. The villa itself is even more beautiful in person than what you see in the pictures. There were 8 of us in total. Everyone had their own room with ensuites. The villa is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need to cook, two sets of washer/dryers, and an incredible outdoor bbq space, to name a few things. It had all the comforts of home. The views from the gorgeous pool and hot tub were incredible. We had the best time and would absolutely book with Star Villas again.

Wonderful home

Loved this home: the layout, cleanliness, kitchen set up. The views are to die for. Management staff is WONDERFUL! They are very responsive and ready to help with anything. We ordered groceries before we arrived, they helped us order food as take out for that first night we were there. The best crew!Our only disappointment was the pool. It was too cold, even when the temperature outside was sunny and in the 80s. You couldn't really lounge. As soon as the sun would disappear, it would grow colder. The jacuzzi is cold as well.The location is impossible without a car. You cannot walk on foot to the bottom of the hill to get an uber and go places. I guess you can but it is a long and very steep road. The area is also away from major centers, close to Hermosa beach but again, you need a car to get there.

Paradise

The house is utterly stunning. Guillermo, the property manager, was so beyond helpful! Responded quickly! Had multiple suggestions for restaurants, beaches and activities. We felt super safe and taken care. Anna, the house attendant, was so nice and always had a smile on her face and also gave great recommendations. We could not have asked for a better property and affiliates. We had a family of monkeys In the tree next to one of the primary suites greet us In the evening and parrots flew by everyday. It was truly paradise. The view from the pool is worth 1million dollars. Just perfect.

Amazing family vacation

Fabulous place

Four couples stayed, we each had our own large bedroom with king size bed, private bathroom and beautiful view. Kitchen and living space very spacious. Absolutely loved staying here. Infinity pool, powder room accessible from outside, dining table outside. Perfect! Highly recommend staying here. Hosts very quick to respond to questions.

9 Days in Paradise

The house was everything and more than we could have expected! It was ultra modern but felt homey. We spent a lot of time on the patio and in the amazing pool. The views were beautiful, especially in the morning while lying in bed! We spent more time at the house than expected but none of us wanted to leave! The only negative was, because it is on such a steep hill and we didn't have a means of transportation, we couldn't just 'run' down to the cute little store right at the bottom of the hill for things we needed. We would try to buy everything when our driver was taking us home for the day but one night we were making shrimp scampi and thought we had lemons. They were oranges!! Oh well! We certainly wouldn't have had the views had the house been somewhere else, but it was just inconvenient. Not exactly sure how the problem could be solved either. A scooter? The hill is VERY steep. That being said, I would go back tomorrow. Pura Vida!!

Impeccable luxury property - superior home, view and service

We planned a family trip with 12 people from 18mths to 74yrs. The property more than comfortably accommodated us and giving us different spaces for everyone to congregate and have fun. The pictures really do not show the quality of the property and the beauty of the views. The home has been very well designed in its layout and a multitude of details and nice touches. Beds are superior quality, appliances are top brands and fit-and-finish for luxury. Service by both the managing agents and the owners was impeccable - highly responsive, extremely helpful and informative. Location is in a secure gated community and within a very short drive (5mins) to the nearest beach (plenty of parking), shopping and many restaurants. I'd highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a memorable stay in a remarkable home.

The BEST vacation home! Gorgeous property

This is an absolutely stunning property with spectacular ocean and sunset views. You truly feel like you’re on vacation here. The beds were very comfortable and each room has individual A/C controls and blackout shades. The house has fast WiFi and TVs in every room. The infinity pool is a dream and all the amenities are top notch (including an excellent Jura coffee machine and 2 sets of Samsung washer/dryers) The hosts even provided a Graco crib for our baby. Property feels very safe and is not only gated itself but is also within a gated community with a 24 hr attendant. It is on top of a hill so would recommend renting a car (it is quite a workout to hike to from the main road). The location is great for reaching many top attractions including adventure parks, wildlife sanctuaries, national parks, and beaches, etc. There is a small supermarket at the bottom of the hill (near the entrance to the gated community) that is super convenient. Playa Hermosa is just a 5 min drive and is amazing. Great communication with hosts and property management. Many thanks to the owners and Zindis management for creating a truly memorable experience for us!

Brand new beautiful house

We overall had a lovely time in this beautiful house. Excellent views and quiet neighborhood. Close drive to the ocean. Kitchen had everything that we needed, bedrooms all had tv's and comfortable beds. Excellent communication with owner and property manager. We were assured that the house would be ready for us as I had voiced my concerns about the fact that there were no photos of the interior on the website. There were a few unfinished items like wires hanging from the ceiling, and water not turned on to the dishwasher or washing machine which we needed to problem solve. The home is filled with floor to ceiling windows. Our son's bedroom was so bright and hot in the morning that he would wake up early and come into our room. Window coverings will help with this issue. Also, window coverings in the master bath and closet would be helpful, as I needed to keep the lights off so the neighbors would not be frightened when looking up. The pool water is cold and we had thought that there was a jacuzzi that would at least be warm. However, the jacuzzi only has jets, NO HEAT. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home, we had a wonderful vacation!

One word amazing! This brand new house has a spectacular view of the ocean!

We have vacationed Costa Rica several times over the years but came across this brand new luxury rental and decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing 50th birthday celebration with our close friends. So thrilled we did, the most amazing breathe taking views we have yet experienced in CR. One thing I always like to comment on is if the beds were comfortable. No question about it. The beds and bedding were awesome! Our favourite was relaxing in the infinity pool! There are large glass patio doors which open up to living room and kitchen which allowed us to bring the outdoors in all day!!! Very comfortable lounging and eating area on the huge patio. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. We felt extremely safe with the gated community. We took in restaurants near by and our favourite was Ginger Restaurant which resembles a treehouse restaurant with vast variety of tasty tapas selections. Foodnication a must try as well. My only regret is that we didn't stay here longer but grateful to have found this rental and look forward to renting again, next time with family and friends as this house would comfortably accommodate more people than our group of 4. Crystal and Scott were very responsive to all questions that we had and were excellent hosts. Even went as far as surprising us as I mentioned it was a birthday celebration, with a bottle of red and white wine. I should make one more comment about the proximity to restaurants and shopping. It is a steep walk from the grocery store and the restaurants but doable. Make it part of the work out for the day ! I recommend renting a car as there’s so much to see in Costa Rica. An Amazing Stay

For our stay in the Playa Hermosa/Playa Coco area this property managed by Crystal was an amazing experience. Before our stay Crystal was very quick to answer questions and offered very good suggestions to us. Although this home is a new build Crystal obviously is very familiar with this area. They apparently have another home in this area and have been here for a number of years. As advertised this home is brand new and everything about it is in pristine condition. Our whole family fell in love with the home right away and it was the perfect place to come back to from our outings. The pictures do not fully do justice to how this home actually is. Our only regret was we could not stay longer but when we come back we will be searching the avaliability here. Thank you Crystal for sharing your home with us.
