Welcomed by a large fountain reminiscent of a Mediterranean countryside, “Villa Paradiso” will immediately transport you to a place where you can breathe deep & relax with your fo& family. It is 5 minutes to Siesta Key, home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the US. Once on the Key, there is a huge public beach, lots of "access" points along the way for private entry to the beach, and a fun village filled with souvenir shops and restaurants. The house is situated on a private, quiet street “west of the trail’, which is highly desirable if you’re not familiar! Right next to a park, you can take a shaded walk, watch your children play on the expansive playground, toss a frisbee or football, or drop a kayak into the bay and go exploring without ever having to get in your car! Location is also very convenient to downtown Sarasota restaurants and museums, the famous St. Armand's Circle, Longboat Key and Lido Beach. This home is also close to Publix, Trader Joe's, Detwiler's and Costco, and all shopping on Tamiami Trail including Target and a shopping mall! Terracotta tile floors throughout this spacious home will make you feel like you're at an island destination. The master bedroom has a king bed, sliding glass doors to the pool area, and adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with double doors, overlooking the yard & pool area, with an adjoining jack-and-jill bathroom that has an additional two-sink vanity and large walk-thru closet. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, along with a spacious desk & printer. All beds have 12" memory foam mattresses and beautiful linens. Open plan living room has extremely comfortable sectional seating & sliding glass doors to front covered patio. Dining table seats 6 or 7 if you use the additional dining bench, overlooking the pool through sliding glass doors & windows. The kitchen is well-appointed with high end cookware, flatware, serving pieces and sharp knives… along with just about anything else you could possibly want in the kitchen! There is a grill in the backyard with all the grilling tools you will need. Covered front patio with ceiling lights & fans is tucked under a metal roof - the perfect place to dine or sit in the swinging chair, even in the rain! The private pool is yours alone, and if you've swam in a salt water pool before, you know how soft and luxurious the water feels. Three feet deep at each end, gently sloping to five feet in the center - perfect for volleyball! There is an outdoor shower with hot & cold water located on the pool patio. It is a family friendly house, equipped with books and games and even a pack and play! There is also a separate driveway and hookup for a boat, motor home or RV - Plenty of parking! The landscape is lush with palm trees, flowering plants and a few fruit trees. Private, separate host apartment on premise. Julia communicated with us throughout our trip, she helped if we questions or needed help with anything. So very kind! The house was beautiful inside and out, with charm and peacefulness. The house was immaculately clean and fresh throughout. We genuinely loved staying here. The saltwater pool was amazing, super clean and very nicely heated so we could use the pool every night too. The location was perfect, away from the crowded main strip of Siesta Key yet literally minutes from beaches and main strip. The house is in a nice neighborhood. We felt completely safe and comfortable. It’s a quiet, friendly neighborhood with a park nearby with picturesque views for evening sunsets. Man hatte alles was man braucht. Der Pool war angenehm warm und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Julias Haus. Sie stand für alle Fragen und auch mal Probleme sofort bereit und hat alles schnell gelöst. Die Nachbarschaft ist angenehm und ruhig. Besonders toll war der gegenüberliegende Park zum entspannen, Angeln, Spielplatz oder Mittwochs für den Farmers Market. Our stay at was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The space was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. We loved the cozy ambiance and all the little touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The backyard is a lush wonderland of gorgeous trees and plants, and is fully fenced, so great for dogs. The location is fantastic – quiet, yet close enough to all the attractions we wanted to visit. We especially appreciated the gorgeous artwork, the snacks left for us in the living room, the starter house goods like toilet paper and laundry detergent, the lovely bed spreads. The owner was so sweet about keeping the pool warm. It made our stay extra special. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we had everything we needed to prepare meals. The host was incredibly welcoming, and we felt well taken care of during our entire stay.Overall, this property was the perfect choice for our trip, and we can’t wait to come back. We stayed at Julia’s place in Sarasota for 10 days over New Years. We had a wonderful time. It was just the break that we needed from the stress and cold back home. She communicated clearly and checked in periodically to see that we had everything we needed.There was a miscommunication (no one’s fault) and Julie worked tirelessly to resolve the issue.
