I had other family members on LBK so we would sleep and shower in our room and then spend the day with family. I would only like to see a lighted sign out front. Our room was exceptional with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. The Silver Sands resort was amazing, clean, and exceeded our expectations. My spouse of 40 years and I will definitely be back for a longer stay. The service was impeccable and the views of the sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico Beach were beyond words! Pool, shuffle board, and putt putt 9 hole course was well maintained and fun to enjoy. Area restaurants had some of the best seafood we have ever eaten, and we own a restaurant, so that is saying alot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon. It felt like punishment and was very cramped. The room cleaning was good and essential due to dish washing in the sink and a hot plate. Compared to beach sides and windows and pools for others. There is no view of the ocean all I had was a room. No place to buy food and I couldn't sleep well. The bed is on wheels and that was the only place to sit and relax. Clean, updated and easy to access, one soon learns that parking access on the west coast keys can be non existent at times, not here, there is plenty. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded.
