It faces west, so keep the curtains closed to keep the heat out. It's also near an airport, so you're going to hear many planes flying overhead. I sleep with white noise, so I didn't have a problem at all. The tiki space and pool area are nice. I was Leary booking a vacation from a hotel name for a small condo/ hotel room. This room had 2 queen beds, bathroom and all amenities as a hotel for half the price. The marina area is nothing special, but the motel room was clean. The only drawback is that one mattress needs to be changed as it sinks in the middle and made it tough on my back. ##### Ed T. You check in through the hotel check in desk. The property includes a nice tiki bar with food and entertainment. It was a nice place to sit back and enjoy food and drink. There is a heated pool but it was too cold to use. The room was clean, a bit dated but everything worked well. The property is directly on the take off or landing pattern of the Sarasota/Bradenton airport so there is a bit of noise from that but it was bearable. The location is fairly good to go anywhere in the area. The room looks out to the corresponding neighborhood not the marina. The host, Rafael, was a pleasure to work with and responded very quickly to any messages. All in all, for the cost, it was well worth the stay. I would recommend this property and would stay there again. ##### John P.
