Sand irritation in a good location.
Enjoyed the close proximity to the beach! Great sundown views!!
ONE BIG NEGATIVE: The umbrella we rented for the day every day for $15 and the beach chairs were supposed to be ours until sundown. Whenever we went back up to the room during the day, the guys that were putting chairs away and collecting umbrellas evidently wanted to go home early. They always took everything and put them away---even though we left our ID lanyard wrapped on the chairs as instructed. Consequently, when we would come back down in the late afternoon or evening---HOURS prior to sundown---the chairs were already locked up and our spot was empty. Any chairs people didn't stay on all afternoon were put away and locked with a cable LANYARD AND ALL! Given that a lost lanyard incurs a $40 charge, I think when the lanyard is attached (as instructed,) to the chair, the chair(s) and umbrella should be left alone for the benefit of the guest(s) who paid for them.
Fortunately, the sand, surf, and view smooths that over SOME, but it shouldn't have to.
On a really positive side , the location is fantastic for walking to numerous really good seafood restaurants---all the way from straight across the street to only 1 or 2 blocks away. Fantastic location!
