We could not be happier with our 2-month stay at Daniel's house. Dan and his wife take great care of their property and answered (via text) any questions we had almost immediately. The house was spotless and the layout was perfect for our needs with a good-sized master bedroom with bathroom (very comfy bed!) and plenty of storage in all closets. This was our third stay in the Sarasota area and while a bit distant to the downtown area it's still easy to get where you want to go. The neighborhood is very quiet, probably because the road is essentially an elongated horseshoe shape, which means it is not used as a short cut from one part of Sarasota to another. Neighbors seemed very friendly based on the limited interaction we had. One very small annoyance is the house on one side is the home of two dogs that seem to enjoy loudly proclaiming their ownership of not just their property but also this one. Their property is fenced thank goodness and the dog's owners are good about not leaving the dogs outside for very long. But this is truly a very minor complaint! We would stay in this house again in a heartbeat but have opted for a house closer to the center of Sarasota for next year. If you're looking for a place in Sarasota that will be large enough to handle occasional visitors (3 bedrooms, 2 full baths) but is small enough to remain affordable - and you don't have a need or desire to be directly on a beach - you absolutely cannot go wrong booking this house! ##### Gene B. We got to enjoy some Spring Training Baseball and the beach with this location. Overall, this place is a great stay. There are some plumbing issues, so be prepared to use the plunger.
