ALTHOUGH THE POOL IS CLOSED ON OUR PROPERTY STILL, OUR WHITE SUGARY SANDS OF ANNA MARIA ISLAND ARE RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR CONDO TO ENJOY ALONG WITH ALL THAT THE ISLAND OFFERS.

Our fully stocked and well maintained condo here on Anna Maria Island is sure to be the right choice for you and your family for your vacation.

Runaway Bay is a 13 acre resort complex full of amenities for you and your family to enjoy while on your vacation. It is located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island across the street from the beach.

Anna Maria Island is a Barrier Island located in the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint shops and local restaurants, with 7 miles of blue waters and white sandy beaches, are all part of the landscape here. It is a place where “Old Florida” charm can still be found and “Island Time” is a way of life. Flip flops are a part of stepping out and the speed limit never exceeds 35 mph on the Island.

Runaway Bay, here on the Island, has been voted the best resort by the Bradenton Herald for several years in a row. This vacation resort is located 100 yards from the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Runaway Bay has the largest heated pool on the Island and we are steps away from the sandy white beaches of Anna Maria Island. This resort features tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce, a fitness center, BBQ grills throughout the property and a fishing pier located behind our condo, right over the bay. There is a free trolley that will take you all around the Island. Runaway Bay has a covered trolley stop located at the entrance to the resort.

Well maintained and full of amenities, this condo is located in a quiet section of the complex with a peaceful view of the bay to wake up to from the master bed. We are Condo # 238. Enjoy the views of the resort lagoon as well as a tranquil water fountain to listen to and watch from your private screened balcony. There is a picnic table and BBQ grill located directly behind the condo on the bay. Stand on the pier overlooking the bay while enjoying your morning cup of coffee.


The white sugary sand beach of Anna Maria Island is just across the street !!!


Our condo is CONTINUALLY maintained, updated and fully stocked. Updated quality furniture throughout the condo. Kitchen and both bathrooms have been COMPLETELY UPDATED and the entire unit has been freshly painted. NEW sleeper sofa, NEW Smart TVs and a NEW washer and dryer for our guests to enjoy. Towels, sheets, comforters, and even pillows are CONSTANTLY CHANGED out throughout the year to make sure that each and every one of our guests have a clean and comfortable home while staying as our guests.

Even though we employ a cleaning service, at least once every 5 - 6 weeks we travel to the condo in between the arrival of our guests, to do a thorough cleaning in nooks and crannies that are sometimes over looked. This attention to detail makes this unit one of the cleanest available. Mark and I work hard to make sure that our condo is truly a perfect vacation destination for you and your family.

Free WiFi and upgraded cable channels. Screened in balcony.We offer unlimited calls to the USA and Canada for our guests. The unit is fully furnished with a spacious and fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom has a large walk in closet, a private bathroom and a comfortable king sized bed. The guest room has twin beds that can easily convert to a king bed if needed.The condo has a split bedroom plan for added privacy.

The living room has a pull out sofa bed, so the condo can sleep 6 comfortably. There is a full size washer and dryer in the condo. All linens, including beach towels, hair dryers, ironing board and start up supply of soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are provided .

The condo also has 3 TVs, DVD players, fishing poles and gear, tennis rackets, sand toys, books, magazines, puzzles, movies, board games, boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach umbrella, a cooler, floats and a beach cart for use while you stay there.

We have built many relationships with our guests over the years as owners and have been blessed to have many of our guests return every year to stay in our Daytona condo again for their vacation. Great Family Vacation Spot!!

The condo was in a perfect location and an ideal spot for a quiet and restful vacation with your family. The beach is a short walk and the pool was well maintained and had plenty of chairs for all the guests as well as areas of shade and umbrellas. The condo had plenty of room and stocked with everything you could ever need. The owners have a very efficient process to welcome you to their condo and ensure your stay is everything you want it to be. Will definitely rent from them again. We had a wonderful time!!

Perfect place in Anna Maria Island!

When I say the owners thought of everything, I’m not exaggerating!! This place feels like home when you walk in and is so inviting. Everything you will need is here including beach & pool toys, chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, coolers, fishing gear, pickle ball paddles, etc. Just cause we were unsure of what was there and being partial to our own things we did bring our own chairs, cooler, and beach cart, but it was nice to have extras to use. The kitchen includes everything you will need to make your own meals. There is plenty of linens such as towels, wash cloths, extra pillows, and blankets. The complex itself is also nice. The pool is large and there’s plenty of chairs and tables around it. The pickleball courts and shuffleboard courts are nice. There’s grills and picnic tables planted throughout the grounds. The beach access is right across the street and about a 5-7 minute walk away. The unit is in the back of the complex so it is a little bit further of a walk than if you were in the front, but that just means it’s quieter with no street noise, and the walk is not bad at all, especially since the beach is not just huge like other beaches. You also have a view of the back bay and the pier from the lanai. Mrs. Donna provided excellent communication from the time of booking to the time of our arrival and departure. Anna Maria island is beautiful and quiet! I highly recommend this place if you plan to visit! Thank you Mrs. Donna for everything!!

Great location! Everything you Need.

We stayed Memorial Day week even though the island was crowded the beach across from condo was not bad and could easily find a spot. Beach and trolley access is in front of complex entrance. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay a great girls trip. All beach accessories are there to use with plenty of towels. Condo is within walking distance to Bridge Street, but recommend a car or trolley to get to the north end of the island. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Donna provided excellent recommendations for food and entertainment. We had an issue with one of the toilets and Donna came to fix it the next morning. Could not have asked for a better response. I highly recommend staying at this condo. We will be back again.

WONDERFUL CONDO & OWNER

We had a wonderful time at Donna's condo. I never had to wonder where anything was. She had the entire condo extremely organized. She was very receptive to questions and clear in her responses. The location of the condo is perfect. Having two bedrooms with their own bath is perfect. The separation is enough so that there was privacy for guests. The Gulf is right across the street from Runaway Bay. The decor made you feel like you were in a little beach house. The condo has a large washer and dryer, which made things easy. The restaurants were great and close. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. We would recommend this unit to anyone. If you decide to rent this unit on AMI, you won't regret it.

Wonderful Property and location!

Beautiful Condo and great location on the Island! Everything needed for a great day at the beach is provided – beach umbrella, beach chairs, cooler, towels, beach wagon, water toys and more. The condo has easy and walkable access to a pier overlooking the Bay where we saw beautiful sunrises along with dolphins on a couple of occasions. The beach on the Gulf is a very short walk from the condo and the sunsets are breathtaking. Donna was a wonderful host and was always available for questions.

Wonderful stay at runaway bay

This was our first time staying at Runaway Bay. I was surprised at how quiet the grounds were with the amount of condos. This place is right near the bay which was so convenient to walk to and watch for dolphins. All the beach equipment you could need and felt like “home.” We had a wonderful time!

First timers to AMI and we couldn't have picked a better location to stay for our needs. Communication and ease of booking with Donna were fantastic. She is super responsive to any and all questions and has thought of everything to make life easier at this lovely condo. From the well equipped kitchen with all the spices to all of the beach gear; wagon, cooler, beach towels, toys and umbrellas you could possibly need. This is the perfect place to relax & unwind. Wonderful!

Donna's condo was perfect for our vacation on Anna Maria. It was our first time on the island and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The condo is centrally located, making it easy to get to either end of the island. And if you don't want to drive, you can just hop on the trolley which stops at the entrance to Runaway Bay. Beach access is right across the street. The condo was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. We appreciated the well stocked beach closet that had every supply we needed for the beach. My children also loved going to the pool at the condo complex. Donna is great to work with. She sent us all the necessary information about the condo as well information about the island and what to see and do. For first timers to Anna Maria, it was very helpful. I highly recommend this property and we hope to return!

Perfect for small family

This was our third visit to this Donna's condo at Runaway Bay. The condo is the perfect size for our family of 5, and the location is wonderful with close access to the pool and the beach. Donna is wonderful to work with, and the condo is very clean and beautifully decorated! We will be back again!

Christmas of 2022 and we had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, well maintained and decorated nicely. The owner, Donna has this condo well stocked with all the things you would need for your stay including beach accessories. Great condo, location, amenities, cleanliness! This condo had everything we needed for a great, week stay: blender (ahem, make pina coladas and take them to the beach across the street!), coffee maker, toaster oven, blow dryer, beach wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. We went to the BBQ place next door for numerous meals-YUM! One night, we brought our food out to the dock and ate our dinner there, watching the boats and drawbridge. The pool was very nice and was a nice option at the end of a beach day. Great Stay

We stayed at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. This property is in a great location and super clean. The condo had everything you need. Donna, the owner, was great to work with. She answered the phone and responded to emails promptly. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank You Donna!

Unforgettable Vacation

My husband and I had booked two weeks at this condo. We arrived late on a Sunday night and had a great day at the beach on Monday. We were evacuated because of Hurricane Ian on Tuesday. Donna and Mark were wonderful about communicating with us and keeping us updated about the information we needed to know about AMI. We were able to go back to the condo and enjoyed our time there. All the things that you need for time at the beach was available to us at the condo. There was no need to pack anything for the beach - it was all there. Communication with Donna and Mark was great throughout the whole vacation time. They were quick to respond to text messages or voice mails. We can't wait to go back and spend more time there. I would highly recommend this condo!

GREAT PLACE!

The location of this place is GREAT! Super close to the trolley, so very convenient to get anywhere on the island. My husband and I were very pleased with our stay, and couldn't have asked for better hosts/place.
