Yet, there is much to see: the well-preserved theater, the temple of Asclepius, the remains of a large Roman house, an early Christian baptistery and a church, the 'Greek times Pozzo di Nymphs, and some massive walls of the Illyrian town. Climb the acropolis a beautiful view of the site and the bay. Now you get a good brochure at the entrance, and there are also great new information panels throughout the site. The beautiful lagoons, marshes, forests and olive groves of the National Park can be explored on foot, by boat or horse with CISP, an agency of the Italian eco-tourism (tel.
