I saw a floor plan of all the rooms and it looks like we were perhaps just lucky. A maximum 5-minute walk from the attractive Nakajima Park, and roughly 10-15 mins to Susukino and 20-25 mins to Odori Park. Can walk to Sapporo Station in 35-40 minutes, so if you're happy walking I recommend it because it's cheaper than more central hotels.
