Although the hotel has a big room for baggage storage, it only allowed us to store the baggage until 12:00pm (2 hours after the check-out time).

Its location right by Sapporo station can't be beat, and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. I needed to book an extra night due to a scheduling mistake, and they had it sorted out in under five minutes.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel, ideal location for us. Next to the train and bus station. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful. Room was ok for an overnight stay, a little small for a long stay would have been better if it only had 1 double bed in

Tight bathroom
It was very nice stay. The room was clean and nice. But the bathroom was too tight. Using the same faucets for both sink and shower/tub was not too tight. Understand that it’s probably more efficient but it didn’t help to make it look more upscale.

The price was very good via Travelocity, considering its convenient location. The hotel has public bath, self laundry/drier machines with reasonable costs. The room has small fridge. There is shared iron/board and microwave oven. The hotel has vending machine for drinks inside, which has similar price as the nearby local store. I enjoyed the breakfast included in the price.

Located next to North entrance of Sapporo Station
Due to Golden Week holiday, only managed to book semi-double smoking room. Indeed room came with cigarettes smell, but still in cleanly manner. Room size is good enough for us. This is expected for middle-range downtown hotels in any big city at Japan. But hotel location is superb!. Hotel located next to North entrance of Sapporo Station. Pulling luggage to New Chitose Airport rapid train is effortless.

Professional and convenient.
After spending most of my vacation in more casual accommodations, the Route-Inn in Sapporo was a quality and professional hotel experience. Good staff, facilities, and breakfast buffet, and it's literally right across the street from JR Sapporo Station which means you get in from New Chitose Airport and the hotel is close enough that waiting for the crosswalk signal to turn green might take longer than the rest of the walk over. They have onsen facilities in the basement that I didn't personally use, but the coin laundry machines are located just inside the dressing rooms down there. The desk staff's English ability is functional enough, though asking about more complex concepts might be a difficulty.

Well located, being a 2 minute walk from the JR Sapporo north exit and conveniently located near both a 7/11 and a Lawson family mart, what else can you ask for? Staff were friendly and although there was a small problem on check in, they fixed it immediately and were very apologetic. We were only here for a night as it was the second hotel we stayed in while we were in Sapporo, but we would definitely be back.

Very good location
The hotel locates just opposite to the JR Sapporo Station, which was super convenient. The room was small but the bed was comfortable. The restaurant serving buffet breakfast was very busy. It'd better to have breakfast after 8:30am as most of the Japanese people will finish breakfast by then and rush to work.

The hotel was just across the Sapporo JR station and centrally located, close to small restaurants and shopping mall at the JR stations.The onsen at the basement is a plus and the breakfast is filling.There are some drawbacks aside from a small room is the air conditioning. It was April and a little cold outside but the inside temperature is hot. We tried setting the air conditioner to a colder temp but it was fixed at 20 degrees which is still hot.We just opened the window for cooler air to get in.When I asked the front desk they said all rooms are pre set to 20 degrees. Also, the TV channels are all in Japanese,the front desk said there's no English channel at all.

Great value for this price and super convenient! Right at the north exit of Sapporo station. I used to stay at another similar hotel near the station every time I go there, that one is more pricey and the room is slightly better than this one. However, given the price is a lot cheaper than the other one, I would definitely choose to stay in this hotel for my future visit. One more thing is the hotel room is very warm and stuffy in the winter even with the heater off for the other hotel I used to stay, almost too hot to sleep. But for this one, it has no such problem. The only thing I don't like about the room is the hair dryer is too weak! Other than that, everything is good!

Great location!
This hotel is literally 30 seconds walk from the exit of the train station. It is great when you travel with big luggages. Love it!
