The location was excellent — very close to the train station. The hotel is “English country house” themed, which was welcome compared to starkly modern hotels we stayed in before and after on that trip.

Stayed 2 nights. It’s a older renaissance like hotel with dark wood floors old fashioned gate type looking elevators. Not a New and modern hotel with bright shiny marble floors, but the location is Pretty good about a 5 minute walk to Train station. As long as you dont have lots of luggage or big bulky or heavy ones to lug with you, especially in the snow! The room and bathroom size was good. The bathroom was pretty big compared to a lot of other hotels in Japan. Paid $435.00 usd for two nights which came with a buffet breakfast which was pretty good. The only downside for us was they didn’t have a free airport shuttle. But there was a airport shuttle that stops diagonally across the Monterey, so we’d have to lug two large suitcases, a small carry on and two Snowboard bags and our backpacks across a six lane Main Street separated by a snow-covered median crosswalk and another street which would have been extremely difficult, so we left couple bags at the front desk and made two trips. Hotel strategically located near Sapporo station, bus terminal and shopping mall. The hotel has a nice ambience too.

Surprised that there was 1.5 baths. Didn't find a luggage rack or drawers to put clothes. I sort of lived out of my suitcase. Quite convenient to Sapporo Station.

There is a very damp smell. I do not feel well the mini nite in stepped into the room. I was told that they have full occupancy, and they can not accommodate my request for a additional pillow. Each bed was only given one pillow

European style building, not modern, but comfortable to stay. Convenient location with immediate access to car rental facilities and a few minutes walk away from the Sapporo train station. Triple room is a bit compact.

Staff here is very friendly and so helpful. Hotel is very close to the station. We were able to walk to the Beer Garden and then took a taxi back which cost about 750 yen. I love how the hotel feels and look. I would come back again.

Excellent, helpful staff, with, usually, an English speaker. Central location near the rail station. Interesting pseudo-Victorian style. This hotel is an excellent base for your explorations of Hokkaido. (They will mind your luggage for you while you explore the island.) Very much recommended.

Outstanding breakfast buffet
We enjoyed our breakfast buffet and noticed how your staff kept checking the buffet dishes making sure all pots and bowls were not empty. Also everything on the buffet tables were correctly set, for example the serving silverware were free of food and placed in its proper receptacles.

The only negative that we encountered was the poor lighting. For reference: women need good quality lighting to put on their make up. Had to use a lot of sunlight (not good when there was no sun light or had to get ready before the sun was bright enough).

Wonderful stay. Good location.
We had a wonderful stay here. I booked the standard double room. It was spacious, double bed was large, there was a small couch, coffee table, wardrobe, desk, bedside stand, tv cabinet, fridge, luggage stand. Bathroom was decent size. Wifi worked well. Room was clean and tidy and had pretty much everything I needed. Staff at front desk were nice. They were even kind enough to arrange for my luggage to be taken up to my room. The hotel is very nice and close to Sapporo Station so very convenient location. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay there. The only thing I really wish they had was self-laundry facilities. They have laundry service but I just personally prefer self-laundry :) I'd definitely love to stay here again.

The old heritage theme was done very well. The chapel and courtyard were spectacular. A great venue for weddings. Loved it

Cozy hotel with good location. Quite area but with many restaurants nearby. Female Staff are friendly but a bit cool of the male staff :D highly recommend for family travel, the room spacious! Buffet breakfast is fantastic and the venue are very cozy too

Nice hotel! Good location
The location is good. Super close to the Sapporo station and there are many convenience store nearby. The room is comfortable to stay. Not as small as the tranditional hotel in Japan.
