This property is not only pet-friendly, it's PETS ENCOURAGED! This recently renovated treehouse is a 2 bed/2bath that boasts an additional Dog Suite, so your furry family members have a space all their own! There is an outdoor dog bath (including shampoo & towels) as well as a large fenced-in Dog Play Area. And NO PET FEES! (3 dogs max, unless approved in advance by owner). For our human guests, the property is on a very private wooded lot and includes an outdoor fire pit, hammock, and outdoor deck. There is also a wood burning fireplace in the great room. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, king size bed, and Smart TV. The secondary bedroom has a queen size bed. There is an extra twin bed (upper bunk) in the Dog Suite if needed (the lower bunk is reserved for dogs only). There is also a small office space, should you need to check in with work while visiting the area. Unlike many other mountain locations, this treehouse offers a strong cell signal and wifi. The property is easily accessible from Hwy 64, and is approximately 7 minutes from the Sapphire Valley Resort. Guests of the property are eligible to purchase an amenity card for the Sapphire Valley Resort. The amenity card provides the user access to the private lake, fitness center, arcade, mini-golf, horse shoe pit, basketball court, track, and dog park. (For more info about the amenities and seasonal events check out www.sapphirevalleyresort.com) Narrows Falls is located within the community and is a 15 minute walk from the property. 60 minutes to Asheville Airport, 25 minutes to Highlands, 15 minutes to Gorges State Park, 35 minutes to Brevard & Pisgah National Forest, and 60-75 minutes to Cherokee & Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The king bed in the master was extremely comfortable. It was close to downtown Cashiers and being able to use the amenities at the Sapphire Valley club for a nominal fee was a bonus! We stayed for a month, enjoyed the cool weather, hiking, local restaurants and coffee each morning on the deck. The only negative was the road noise from Rt 64 when out on the deck. The cabin has everything you need including a stocked pantry, games, books, etc. The pictures truly represent it! It was perfect for our 2 dogs (the "Doghouse" bedroom is so cool and cozy if your doggies want to sleep in there with their human companions. Also, the outdoor dog tub is really cool too). The master bed was very comfortable and the cabin in general was so clean. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
