It has a good location. But that is it. Nothing more positive to say about. The room is old. The A/C is old and noisy. You hear the plumbing all night. Couid not sleep at all. Staff at breakfast totally slow and reactive. They were only fast to charge. Never again.

The hotel staff is the biggest perk here, they are super friendly. The front desk staff and some of the workers speak great English. I had a great experience every morning going to the breakfast and interacting with the staff there. Food was decent quality. The Pão De Queijo was hit or miss sometimes though, most days they were rock hard because they are left on a heated surface all morning. The shower was really tiny also but the rest of the room was great. Big bed, great view.

Great breakfast but outdated rooms
Hotel is located in a good area close to the park and several good places to eat. Each room has been updated but the bathrooms and patios are very out of date and need renovation. The bathroom also hadn't been cleaned too well. Overall, the stay was good. The breakfast was excellent.

Nice place, great crew, but full of food smell.
I stayed at the 9th floor for 2 days in a business trip. Woke up the 2 days because of the food smell in my room. 9th floor!!! Awful!! It seems that they are cooking sausages at 6 am in your room. Smell is also very strong in the lobby. How staff can't notice this? It's very sad, because they are very nice and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Won't choose again this hotel.

Clean, safe hotel
Nice staff, but don't expect much English spoken. Pool is negligible; size of a large bathtub. The location -- while says in Jardins -- seemed a little far from things. I noticed there are other Mercure hotels in better locations.

would definitely go again!
I went for the world cup and enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff who spoke english and while we were out everyday, the room was cleaned better than any hotel I had stayed at amd the lady even folded all of our clothes and neatly put them on the table since my friend and I had left them all on the ground by our luggage. It is in a very safe neighborhood and there is a very nice bare/restaurant right across from the hotel that has delicious food and is open from breakfast till 1130 at night which we enjoyed going to everyday for beer or for delicious pastries in the morning. No nightlife in walking distance but you can cab it easily to the fun night areas. I would definitely stay again.

Great choice for price point, Fantastic service.
The rooms were decent, clean and comfortable but nothing special. The hotel is a bit outdated but it works. The staff was extremely friendly, from reception to the waiters at breakfast. That is the main thing that will bring me back. The hotel is basically located on the water, the neighborhood wonderful.

Nice hotel - easy to check in and check out. room service works fine, even during night time. Tip : the hotel as around 15 floors - I stayed at last floor - the skyview of sao paulo is just fantastic.

A regular hotel with a good price.
It´s a nice location, near from the biggest prak at San Paolo, but the behtroom mainetence was not so good, and the service at several times are demasiated slow for everything.

Worst Hotel Reservation Ever
When I attived at the hotel at 10PM from the Airport I was told I didn't have a room despite the prepaid reservation I had made 5 months earlier. One half hour later I was put into a cab to the Novotel only 10 minutes away which turned out to be 30 minutes. I had booked the Mecure because it was near the area of town where the restaurants that I wanted to eat at were located. Though the Novotel Centro was probably a better property, the cab ride to decent restaurants was more expensive than the restaurant bills including wine/ Truly the worst experience I had during a 2 and 1/2 month trip throughout South America.

O atendimento com a funcionará Paola foi ótimo. Acima do esperado . O isolamento acústico do banheiro superior é precário a ponto de acordar quando o ocupante do andar superior tomava banho muito tarde .

Not coming back to this place again.
Very small rooms. Awful gym (actually three fitness machines, one didnt worked). Very bad internet. Leaking bathrooms and greasy food. The staff are nice but there are so many problems at the hotel they can do very littel.
