The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly on check-in, though English is limited. The room was mostly clean, though there were some cigarette butts left next to the pool. The property is beautiful, but the only real issues lies in the condition of the property and rooms. Things are weathered and broken, with some features in the room (like the sound system, sliding wooden doors and jets in the bath tub) are no longer working. The place is still nice but has seen better days. The water in the room didn't get very hot in the shower or sink. It was our plan to do a lot of workout in its fitness centre and swimming. To our disappointment, the air conditioners in the fitness centre were only switched on between 11 am to 3 pm. Even when the air con were on, the room was still very warm. It is unbearable. I felt like running under the sun. The breakfast buffet was also a disappointment as not many choices of food. As a five star hotel of an international brand, I would expect more. Be that as it may, we enjoyed the room with pool access a lot. We were first given a room accessible to the slop in the middle of the swimimming pool. We asked to change the room of a better location and the staff were very nice and changed the room for us.
