Breakfast was tasty, but incredibly busy and understaffed in the egg and noodle section. Overall the hotel pools and beach area were excellent. Recommend Despite some early booking issues Hilton really stepped up their game and I had a great stay. I would highly recommend the Hilton Yalong Bay. The GM, Arthur cares and really took care of me. Amazing hotel, good service and great pool. The hotel was clean, attractive, and in a good location on the beach and walking distance from outside restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the grounds. I used the fitness centre and it was very good, but not excellent. The staff was great and the restaurant food outstanding, and not as expensive as we had feared it would be. We live in Shenzhen and are Chinese speakers, which helped. A nice and well-maintained resort. The staff are super friendly and well-trained with a high level of English proficiency. The resort lacks a bit in dining options as most restaurants close the whole day despite signs stating otherwise. The dinner buffet in the "Big Kitchen" is insanely overpriced even by resort standards. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Pools are very nice and clean but there is a shortage of sun beds and umbrellas during busy time. Most of the pools close before the sun even goes down (7pm) which is pretty disappointing as it forces all guests into just one pool in the evening.
