Loved the fact we stayed in the studio apartments close to the top walkway straight out to the shops and restaurants, however they were 100 steps down to pool. It can get a bit noisy with the bar up above with chairs being moved around constantly morning and night but it wasn't often we were in bed before midnight anyway. Staff were BRILLIANT and so helpful & friendly. Would definitely stay there again if we go back to Santorini.

It was an amazing experiencing staying in this magnidicent hotel with the perfect view. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the breakfast with that fascinating view was wonderful. I highly recommend this place, just be sure to inform the crew in order to help you with your luggages because there are a lot of stairs.

Overall it was pleasant since it was our very first time in Santorini. However, please do detailed research into properties. Many of the hotels state 4 stars and are definitely not 4 stars! The honeymoon apartment was very spacious so that was a plus. However tv didn’t work 2 days straight, and when it did, there was nothing to watch but 4 working channels. The breakfast included is not worth it… walk down to Galini, pay for breakfast but at least it’s worth it. Pool is tiny and only 4 lounge chairs. The property definitely needs to invest into an upgrade. Santorini is a hot tourist spot, you can’t rate yourself a 4 star and be barely a 3 star.

This is a bijou boutique hotel with amazing views of the Caldera. The room was small but had everything you needed and we had a lovely terrace with sun loungers and a table and chairs where we had our breakfast every morning. The breakfast you have to order from the pool bar/hatch every morning and is plentiful but little variety. There are no other facilities available such as a restaurant within the hotel but once you climb to the street there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It is a 15 minute stroll/walk along a lovely coastal path to Thira where you have many shops bars and restaurants to choose from. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and friendly and I would recommend this hotel for a lovely relaxing stay.

GORGEOUS spot with dining and shopping steps away from the suites. Staff went BEYOND with service and kindness. Room was perfect, perfect temperature, great housekeeping services, and well-appointed. The breakfast served right outside the door next to our private hot tub was a bonus! We WILL be back to Santorini, and we absolutely would stay at Mill Houses again.

We had one of the largest rooms. Needs furniture but the view was simply incredible. Staff was really amazing. Stairs up and down a steep hill each day was a lot but this property is clean, well maintained and friendly.

This is definitely a nice spot to be in… the view is awesome and the hotel is close to everything…but that is all. The room is not up to date, shower drain is clogged, so disappointing. The breakfast was ok but served by a super nice person and kind. The others personal was not friendly nor really helpful. One had even difficulty to understand simple English words like rose wine … not impressed

This review is based on a 1 bedroom suite with jet spa. My partner and I stayed in a suite for two nights with another couple. The suite was very clean and the staff was amazing, however the suite itself is very outdated. There was a curtain separating the bedroom from the two twin size beds in the living room. The bathroom door was so old and outdated that it wouldn’t close and the shower head was hand held. We were initially very excited about the pool and the jet tub however the pool was small snd they only allowed 2 people in it at a time and the tub looked old. Despite all this the service was great, we got to enjoy great views and breakfast on the patio. Would still recommend it but keep in mind that it is not a luxurious unit.

The view is amazing! The hotel is walking distance from Thira downtown. Beware that there is a lot of steps, so if you have difficulties with walking its not your choice. The hotel staff takes your breakfest to your room, which you can eat private enjoying the breahtaking view. Recommend!!!

Overall a disappointing experience. The pictures of the hotel don't represent the once online. Pictures online are probably 5-10 years old and the hotel since then has not done much to keep up the maintenance. Bathroom wooden tops are all quilted up and some of the hot tubs have seen better days. Most disappointing was the breakfast. The hotel used the Corona Virus as an excuse to cut corners on the quality of breakfast. Everything was served in plastic boxes resulting in stale scrambled eggs and more rubbish than a Mcdonald's meal. Even after requesting a glass, I was provided with the excuse it was not COVID save, while clearly the staff was too lazy to wash the glasses. Housekeeping was introduced as 'optional and on request', but even after requesting it 3 times during our stay, bedding sheets were not swapped. And late check-out was also not possible "due to Covid-19" - but room was cleaned within 60min and stayed empty from 12:00 - 17:00 afterwards. I beleive these are challanging times for everyone and I appreciate that the hotel is doing extra steps to prevent the spread of the virus. But in this example the main motivation looked more like cutting corners and savings costs instead of stop spreading the virus. Pro: The view is spectacular, Area Con: Breakfast, Service, Housekeeping, Overall Exprience. There are plenty of hotels and suites next to this one who do great service. We would not come back

I Fantastic location, easy access to Thira and all points north. Views over the caldera are to die for. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Lots of care and attention taken to keep the property, and all fixtures and fittings clean, washed down and any potential viral exposure eliminated. Easy access to cafe bars and restaurants in Firostefani. Don’t pay any attention to the reviews talking about excessive number of steps down to reception and the pool come loungers area. Perfectly manageable - good exercise. Room was a bit dated but fine for me. I had 111 below the Mylos bar windmill which happened to be shut. Probably a bit noisy in 111-113 if that restaurant is open but it wasn’t. So nice and peaceful for my stay. Comfortable double bed, separate single out me up and a table to sit at. Fridge for your cool drinks. Not a massive bathroom but perfectly adequate for me.

Very nice hotel with super helpful staff. They offered us a welcome drink while we waited for our room to be prepared. The room was large, clean and comfy. The bathroom however, was quite small and cramped, the wood countertop was a bit mouldy, and the hot water was limited. The hot tub was nice, but could stand to be several degrees warmer, especially in the colder winter months. Breakfast served on the terrace was a lovely start to the day, and the views are fantastic. And you’ll get a great cardio workout in climbing those stairs a few times daily! Overall a decent stay in Santorini.

The views were stunning (which any other hotel has it). The staff was very nice. I booked 5 days for room 107 knowing that they have a hot tub on the terrace. I was disappointed because the hot tub was filthy, not cleaned, and obviously I did not use it. This facility needs a lot of improvement. I mean for a 5 stars hotel, charging 200 and some euro a night, they need a lot of work to do. My suite (room 107) smelled heavily bleach and chemicals- maybe after 2-3 days the smell went away. It was so much humidity that moisture was running down the walls- I asked for a dehumidifier and I got one. The draining from the shower is very slowly, the hot water is gone after 3 minutes, the WiFi is so poor (don’t tell me you cannot afford a router here and there since you ask me for 220 euros a night). What else? The TV doesn’t t work, the breakfast was not impressive (cheap). Overall, I made a poor choice with this hotel because I didn’t bother to read the reviews. Ahhh, by the way the pictures advertised on Expedia are far from reality. The 5 star hotel in actuality is 2.7 star hotel. I was disappointed because the reason I spent around $3,000 was to be at this hotel, look at the views and sit in the hot tub. It didn’t happen because the hot tub was dirty and not attractive. I looked around at some other rooms and other hot tubs in this hotel- they were outdated and filthy. Sad. I could have gone to any other place in this world. It was a waste of my money. Too expensive

The view is beautiful and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is smaller then what you expect and the stairs to climb up and down to the main trail are no joke, so be prepared for that. The staff is wonderful in helping carrying your bags to and from though!

The Hotel is in a good location. It has a small pool and the staff are quite cheerful and always ready to help. We enjoyed meeting all of them. The hotel is specifically NOT a 4 star hotel. It is maybe a good 3 star hotel. The photographer should win an award because the photos are the Hotel, they are just done in a way that isn’t representative of the actual hotel and its amenities.

We had a great time. The view, of course was amazing, and the immediate area was fun and non-touristy, but the staff of the hotel made all the difference. They were kind, welcoming, and helpful. The cable TV didn't work while we were there, and internet was spotty, but we didn't go to Santorini to watch TV or go online. We went to have an amazing time, and we did.

Moreover, the location that Millhouses is situated is one of the top in Santorini as it combines spectacular view and tranquility. All of those factors make the demand high and the prices are changing according to demand. Regarding your comment about the view, all of the rooms do have a Sea View from the Veranda as they are all built in amphitheatrical style.
