On beautiful Thira which can be overwhelmed by tourists, this hotel was so quiet and very peaceful. The hotel grounds and garden and pool felt like an oasis in the constant footsteps of day tripping cruise passengers. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the island and things to do. Breakfast was great with a lovely selection of food available. Hotel is close to an excellent restaurant Salt and Pepper which had the BEST Greek cuisine. My only suggestion is that the lighting in the hotel room was dim especially the bathroom. But who cares? We were out seeing the lovely island.

Told to switch room a day after we checkin; stated they gave us the wrong room. Very old hotel; unclean sheet. Breakfast is the best part. If you book transfer to airport though hotel; make sure you confirm it. They did not book it until I asked again to confirm.

A haven in Fira Old Quarter.
The hotel was in a great location in Fira with direct access to the old quarter, its shops, restaurants and bars. It was also a spacious haven from the busyness and activity of these close, small streets. The bus terminal was only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast offered a good and plentiful selection. All staff were very friendly and helpful with lots of advice about local amenities and activities. FOur suite was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable though I would suggest an option of separating the two single beds. My daughter and I were sharing the room but the beds were together with double sheets on them. There was a second single bed in the suite which was useful. A small but immaculate swimming pool was very inviting though we never made use of it as we were just too busy. Our one criticism was the somewhat tired condition of the bath and shower area. It was not of the standard of the rest of the hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aria Lito Mansion We enjoyed our stay very much.

The location is fantastic but this property is extremely dated and needs updating. The bed is uncomfortable, the shower has mold around the tub fixture with a super dated hand held shower attached to tub fixtures, and the rooms have really thin walls. You wil hear everything at night and with the wind in Santorini, that is a lot of noise. There is a good breakfast buffet in the garden in the morning….. staff is friendly but the place is a bit rough for the price.

This hotel is very nice. The bathrooms are a little worn and desperately needs attention. The rooms we had (Suite 1 and Suite 2) were very spacious and comfortable. I loved how our room patio door lead out to the rooftop and pool. The front desk staff was very nice as well. We had no issues other than the bathrooms.

Amazing trip.
The hotel and staff were amazing! The grounds are lovely and just in the right area to be quiet but still lively too! Breakfast is absolutely amazing and you get given so much. Nothing will top the breakfast. The staff were also really helpful and are able to sort taxis for you.

Very large rooms, and great service. The breakfast is by large very large & good choices. Rooms may be a little outdated but clean. They are fixing up rooms with more modern look, hopefully in a second stay we will get those.

Excellent service. We were received by Michael, who was absolutely helpful in recommendations and then accommodating a friend that joined us at the last minute. Definitely recommend it. Amazing breakfast, in fact they serve you too much food that I feel guilty not to be able to eat it all.

This property is like a haven in the middle of busy Fira. It was lovely to have the quiet, relaxing pool area to go to after spending some time in the city. Friendly staff and AMAZING breakfast. My only complaint would be that the shower wasn't up to standards.

I am so glad I chose this property. Right in the center of Fira. On the main road makes it easy for drop off and pick up. Easy for the luggage. The grounds are lovely. Pool is great with nice large tree for shade. Rooms are nice. Mine had a small kitchen. Best of all was the breakfast. Variety of food served on a tray. It changes each day. I looked forward to it everyday of my stay. This place is a gem.

A unique hotel, very spacious rooms in a fantastic location - right in the middle of Fira, but offset just enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Also just a few feet from the main road so easy to catch the airport transfer or for any tour pick-ups. Lovely environs, with shady trees and a garden where breakfast was served. The breakfast was good but excessive, vast amounts of food were delivered to each table - more than anyone could eat - and it was difficult to customize. I would prefer to request from the available items what I'd like to have served instead of seeing all of that food wasted. Overall a lovely stay, happy to have the chance to see Santorini and I definitely preferred Fira to Oia, which was too crowded to enjoy.

Avoid Junior suite, misleading ad by Hotels.com
We’ve booked this room via Hotels.com. Sadly, having read a review from a guest 10 months ago, we had to agree with their views of the Junior suite room. 1. The room advertised was not the same room showed at Hotels.com. It’s completely separate from the main building, with car rental below, overlooking a noisy Main Street and a 5cm strip of a distant sea view. We felt miss sold, as were paying a standard rate for rooms in the main building, with premium views. 2. Sadly after 10 months when first reviewer mentioned this, we were also presented with old blood stained towels, that were not replaced during our stay (2nights), only rug was taken away and not replaced. 3. We’d have thought given a 4 stars, we’d be presented a complimentary water on arrival free of charge, however water was 3 Euros, 4. It seemed the only choice in room, a decaf expresso, was half an expresso cup, to save money. The good bits are all the outside of Aria Lito rooms, a smaller pool, a pine tree, a good breakfast in a nice orangery and an option to leave your luggages onsite. We communicated with staff accordingly prior arrival and were advised the only way to get to Aria Lito was a 40Euro taxi, which we declined. There’s buses going from the harbour to Thira, and the hotel Is 8 mins easy. If you end up booking Aria Lito, please call in advance to assure you won’t be getting the Junior suite rooms !!

Very satisfactory short stay on Santorini
Very convenient spot for exploring the island. The hotel building itself is beautiful and you can walk up some steps from the hotel right onto the old paths through Fira city and up to Imerovigli. The view of the sea on one side is great though not uninterrupted if that’s what you are looking for, and it was pretty windy from that side. Our room was really nice. - very comfortable hugs clean bed, and the shower was amazing. There were a few things broken in the room which didn’t matter but slightly detracted from the luxury (curtain falling off on one end and the toilet seat was totally loose). Car hire place just outside the hotel was great and lots of cheap eat options on the main drag. Defo recommend for a short comfortable stay on Santorini.

The location was excellent for access to Old Fira. The condition of the grounds was lacking. The pool area was not comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable but not spacious. It’s a nice place for a short stay and easy access to village. But not a place to linger.

We stayed just one night on our way to a less Disney-fied island. The hotel was very accessible and easy to find and drive up to. And right on the edge of the old town. The room was fresh and confortable even though it was so hot outside. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The pool was nothing to write home about. And the staff was very helpful though sometimes hard to find.

Peace and privacy a midst busy, central location
The hotel is VERY centrally located in Thera, so you can easily explore the whole town from there. It is probably one of the biggest hotel properties in town, with a very large outdoor patio/terrace, and is quite peaceful a midst the very crowded, small shopping/tourist streets. The staff are super friendly. The pool is not warmed, so keep this in mind depending on the time of year you travel. There is also no caldera view, since the patio is on the east and south sides of the building. Although a long ways away, you can actually see the water on the east side of the island, but don’t choose this hotel for the view, choose it for the peace and quiet, and privacy, in a crowded area. Finally, although there is ‘free parking’ is actually a free public parking lot about 250 meters up the street from the property.

Great location. Some noise annoyance.
The good: Great location in the north end of downtown Fira. The back entrance is right next to the shops and restaurants. This is and old mansion, but very well maintained and clean. Nice swimming pool and patio areas. The staff is friendly and attentive. The not so good: The breakfast could have a little more variety. Mixed fruit seem to be out of a can, not fresh. We selected this place because they promoted having cribs, but did not have one for us. We. Had to improvise a sleeping area with a small bed and some chairs on the side. The building has very high ceilings, so people talking on the hallway or every small noise is heard everywhere. Nearby church bell is very loud, so the location is not the best for sleeping in the afternoon until midnight.

Perfectly situated in the shopping alleyways, easy access to the hiking steps and cable car to /from the old port of Fira, this property was a hidden oasis! Starting your day with breakfast in the courtyard was amazing. It’s so tranquil and peaceful, as you enter the property from all the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and the property was well maintained, Stacy (manager) was amazing! She provided us with recommendations and things to do. I would highly recommend this property!

Nice hotel and nice facility but I got confused regarding the fees for the airport shuttle. The charges me 40 before I left thinking it was for the ride to the airport but when I arrived at the airport to leave the driver charged me 25. They could have made this clearer
