Overall a disappointing experience.
The pictures of the hotel don't represent the once online. Pictures online are probably 5-10 years old and the hotel since then has not done much to keep up the maintenance. Bathroom wooden tops are all quilted up and some of the hot tubs have seen better days.
Most disappointing was the breakfast. The hotel used the Corona Virus as an excuse to cut corners on the quality of breakfast. Everything was served in plastic boxes resulting in stale scrambled eggs and more rubbish than a Mcdonald's meal. Even after requesting a glass, I was provided with the excuse it was not COVID save, while clearly the staff was too lazy to wash the glasses.
Housekeeping was introduced as 'optional and on request', but even after requesting it 3 times during our stay, bedding sheets were not swapped.
And late check-out was also not possible "due to Covid-19" - but room was cleaned within 60min and stayed empty from 12:00 - 17:00 afterwards.
I beleive these are challanging times for everyone and I appreciate that the hotel is doing extra steps to prevent the spread of the virus. But in this example the main motivation looked more like cutting corners and savings costs instead of stop spreading the virus.

Con: Breakfast, Service, Housekeeping, Overall Exprience.
There are plenty of hotels and suites next to this one who do great service.
