Room was lovely, area was nice amd had restaurants, a shop with amenities, and Perissa beach all in very easy walking distance. But the main reason you should book here is because the hosts are completely wonderful and go out of their way to help you whenever they can!

Amazing and very affordable stay! Down the road to perissa beach and in-between 2 bus stations that head regular to fira. Away from the crowd with the best seafood restaurant on the island with stunning views of the beach. Staying here was like staying with family and I will definitely be back. The service was friendly and warm, made my first trip to Santorini memorable

A great little hotel close to the beach

We had a great time. The room was well air-conditioned, they cleaned the room every day and the manager gave us lots of local tips upon arrival. Would recommend.

Probably the best hotel out of 9 so far on the islands and mainland. Quite location and friendly family run hotel with pool. Beach, shopping, dining all walking distance. Bus stop handy to Fira and Oia. Nice to get back after those crazy days. Kitchen with induction cooktop was a bonus.

Good budget option in Santorini, clean + friendly

Pros: - very clean. -owner and his wife very friendly - good swimming pool. -centrally located short walk from bus stop, bakery, bars, restaurant, beach etc - comfortable bed - good TVs and Aircon in room - good fridge in studio room Cons - bathroom quite dated, relies on small window for ventilation so it can get wet after a shower (this is normal in Greek hotels however)

The Aretousa Villas are outstanding. They are very conveniently located in the charming village of Perissa in a quiet setting and are of a very high standard, including a well maintained swimming pool. The cleanliness of the Aretousa cannot be faulted-rooms are cleaned everyday to a very high standard and towels are also replaced daily. All of the staff are extremely friendly, polite and very hard working and the owners could not be more kind and hospitable. Aretousa Villas are located within a few minutes of both a well stocked mini market and bakery, as well as the beach. There are several gift shops, larger supermarkets and good tavernas and restaurants within a ten minute walk. There are bus stops within a few minutes walk and public transport in Perissa is excellent with regular buses every day, including Sunday. It is also very cheap to travel on buses- a single adult ticket, for example, from Perissa to the capital Fira is 2.50 Euros. My partner and I have now stayed at the Aretousa Villas twice, on each occasion for two weeks, and would have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

My sisters and I recently stayed at a wonderful villa in Santorini, and our experience was truly exceptional. The owners of the villa were the nicest couple we have ever met. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, always eager to assist us with anything we needed. The villa itself was immaculate and beautifully maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing us with a cozy retreat after our days of exploration. The pool area was another highlight, offering a serene and relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Santorini weather. The location of the villa was perfect for us. It was just a short walk to the beach, and there were plenty of stores nearby for any essentials we needed. One of our favorite spots was Balance Coffee, which served the nicest coffee we've had in a long time. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Santorini.

The staff Jacob and his wife were great hosts couldn't do enough to make the stay a great experience. The room was comfortable clean and tidy towels changed daily and sheets every other day. The bed was comfy and the fride and kettle and kitchenette were a god send. The balcony was nice bathroom ok needs updating the shower worked ok but was small area shower curtain kept sticking to the body. Otherwise a lovely room. The small pool was great and needed it as sometimes the beach was windy and did not always feel safe going in the sea as rocks were slippy

Jacob was such a sweet host. He helped arrange our pick up from the airport, and even though we were delayed 3 hours, the driver was still there. Jacob was standing on the porch waiting for us to arrive. This is a family owned pproperty, and Jacob gave us great suggestions for restaurants. It is very close to the bus stop, a 24 hour bakery, and the black sand beach. it was very convenient to stay here and get around.

Unmissable Stay

The hospitality was second to none. The whole family who ran the villa was warm, friendly, and willing to go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Jacob was very helpful in telling us things about the island, activities and trips to take, and the best restaurants (and he was not wrong!). The property is a 5 minute walk to the black sand beach where I spent every single day of my visit. It’s a quiet little stroll with adorable shops and good restaurants. It was very easy to organize an airport shuttle with them to and from the airport to avoid having to figure it out myself or take a taxi which would have cost more. Overall, this is an unmissable stay and I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else when I come back. Thanks again!

Nous avons passé un sejour incroyable ! Nous avons réserver notre séjour à deux d'une semaine à "L' aretousa villas" et nous en sommes ravis. Un accueil tres chaleureux et attentionné. Nous avons eut un tres bon contact avec les propriétaires de l'établissement toujours aux petits soin. Les chambres sont super nous avions une chambre avec une petite plaque de cuisson électriques c'était trés utile. Un service de ménage quotidien parfait. La piscine est top équipé de bain de soleil, de petit fond musicale et de plateau de jeux d'échec et de dames. Nous avons vraiment été content et nous gardons de très beaux souvenirs de notre séjours. Encore un grand merci à l'ensemble de l'équipe de "l'aretousa villas". We had an incredible stay! We booked our one-week stay for two at "L'aretousa villas" and we are delighted. A very warm and attentive welcome. We had very good contact with the owners of the establishment, always attentive. The rooms are great; we had a room with a small electric stovetop, which was very useful. A perfect daily cleaning service. Estadia maravilhosa, staff muito atencioso e num ambiente familiar. Senti-me em casa. Muito confortável , todos os dias limparam o nosso quarto e deram toalhas lavadas. Quanto à localização , muito bem localizado, situado no local calmo de Perissa, com mini mercado, padaria , praia e bares de praia a minutos a pé ! Adoramos a experiência ! Especial atenção a quem faz o pagamento com cartão virtual pois existe um deelay entre a empresa parceira “Expedia” e o valor que pagamos na reserva, nao é autorizado ao hotel fazer o levantamento na hora do check in e é cobrado o valor total no dia novamente, sendo que depois têm que esperar 7 a 10 dias a restituição do valor para o cartão.

Perfect Stay Close to the Beach

We loved our stay. The accommodation had everything we needed including a fridge and kettle a little romantic balcony. Excellent location very peaceful and only 3mins to the beach and all the restaurants and bars. There is a bakery at the end of the road with lovely greek pastries. F The hotel had friendly and kind staff gave us excellent Information.
