Its amphitheatric position offers fantastic views over the cliff, the village, the beautiful sunset and the volcano, all at the same time. The location of the villa is very convenient as it is just 500 meters from Oia center. Outside the villa there is a parking area, bus stop, markets and restaurants. The "White House" title is fully explained by its white decoration concept that combines traditional architecture with minimal and contemporary design. There is an infinity outdoors Jacuzzi plunge pool for 6 persons available on the courtyard of the villa with fabulous views to the sea, the caldera and the village of Oia. This lovely villa in Oia consists of three levels (main, upper and lower) united in one villa suitable for couples, a big family or group of friends. The villa has 180 sq. meters of surface and can accommodate the guests in comfort. MAIN HOUSE- WHITE RESIDENCE The White Residence , the main cave House consists of two levels: On the upper level there is a large traditional cave house furnished with antiques. It consists of a luxury master bedroom with double bed , en suite vanity marble bathroom curved into the rock with Jacuzzi bathtub , a living room with built sofas and an antique wooden table, a separate dining area with an antique massive wooden table and sitting corner and a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances. From the living area a few stairs take you up to an attic room with double sofa bed and window with fantastic sea views. On the lower level of the White Residence, a very particular apartment shows how people in Santorini exploited any available space and lived (and still do) in this amazing and unique cliff island. This lower level consists of a small living area, , a WC with shower, a large built shower cabin and a bedroom with a King size bed that can separate in two singles if requested and double bed nested in the window of the cave. The cave atmosphere of this lower level gives a special and romantic atmosphere. UPPER LEVEL APPARTMENT- WHITE LOFT The White Loft" – is the upper floor apartment that is connected to the rest of the “White House” villa via interior stairs. It can be accessed separately as well as it has separate entrance . It consists of a living room, a kitchenette, a full bathroom with shower and a wooden loft bedroom which really gives the idea of flying over the wonderful village of Oia. The loft has windows in the front and in the ceiling where you can see the stars and the moon from your bed using the ceiling windows or watch the sea and the village from the front windows. Situated on the highest altitude point of the village it can offer unforgettable views and unique memories. There is also a balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the volcano. The facilities of the White Residence include A/C, satellite TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, hairdryer, telephone, Wi – Fi and safety boxes. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, cooking stove, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and all kitchenware. In the main courtyard there is an outdoors siting and dining area , an infinity jacuzzi plunge pool with amazing volcano views and a thick mattress for sunbathing. . Watching the sunset from the jacuzzi each evening was a highlight of our trip. It felt like a private slice of paradise.The host arranged transportation for us, and the drivers were fantastic—super helpful, friendly, and very responsive, which made arrival and departure much smoother.There were a few hiccups when we checked in: the pool wasn't clean, there were stained bed sheets, and we found a used bikini left in the bathroom. While this was disappointing, the host was responsive and sent someone to clean everything the next day, which we appreciated.It's worth noting that the home has a lot of stairs, which can be challenging and potentially unsafe with young kids. The views are the best from here as you look back over Oia and the caldera. The house is truly beautiful, unique, and had a ton of space for our two families. The outside patio and jacuzzi with a view were amazing. Jackie was really helpful with recommendations for sailing, restaurants, and beaches and arranged anything we needed. We had a wonderful driver who drove us to the best beach club at Perivolos (black sand) beach, and to and from the airport. Jackie met us where our shuttle from the airport dropped us off and walked us through everything in the villa - very smooth process - and she was informative on where to find local stores, breakfast, etc. The villa was the perfect size and in a great location for us; it was even large enough to allow us to have friends hang out that were staying in Fira. The additional benefit of this location was we did not have to hike down a large amount of stairs like some of our other friends had to in their hotels/villas. The only issue we faced was some drainage issues in the bottom bathroom, which they resolved the next day; the dishwasher had a bad odor probably because of very limited use; and the freezer door was not remaining open - probably just an old unit that will need replacement at some point. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Santorini and this villa was the perfect place for us to call home. ##### Ernie S. It was great being able to see the sunset over Oia and into the sea beyond. Also, we preferred being on the edge of Oia to avoid some of the hustle / traffic further in as we added a wine tour / boat charter as well during our stay which made meeting very easy. Breakfast was offered and we made our order on the first evening, but it didn’t arrive in time for our departure the following morning. My daughter left her make up bag which was found and we are still hoping to arrange for its mailing back to us. Overall a great property and we would return for sure!! ##### Aaron F. We could not get enough of the view from the courtyard and the jacuzzi pool. I especially liked how the pool was covered, heated and felt private. Jackie met us at the port where we rented a car and followed her to the villa. We recommend a rental car to be able to explore the island. Highlights were wine tasting at Santos Winery, Perivolos Beach, Fira, hiking the volcano and a hike out to Skaros Rock in Imerovigli and daily walks to Oia for breakfast, dinners, drinks at MaryKay's Bar and shopping. It was also a short walk to a nicely stocked market. The only negative at the villa was a musty smell in the third floor bathroom. Other than that, the villa met our high expectations. It was the highlight of our trip that included stops in Paris, Athens, Milos and Santorini. ##### Dan J. We were two families - 4 adults and 4 children, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The whole house was nice and tidy, meticulously decorated. The property manager was very responsive and timely, she was just great! We loved the location and the amenities. It was very private and quiet and yet had good accessibility. However, there were some issues with the bathrooms. The master bath had a musty smell that didn't go away easily unless you left all main doors and windows open. We had a hard time sleeping at night due to the smell. I understand that the sewage and drainage system is not ideal in most of Greek islands and that leads to this. I think it might be better during summer when you leave doors open. Loved the sunset views from the hot tub! Cons: Just be aware that this property is not safe for older people . To get to bedroom/bathroom downstairs there are many marble steps that have no handrails and upstairs lots of stairs to go up. We were a group of 7 all over 70 years old and it was a challenge. You also can't flush toilet paper in the toilet but need to put it in a trash can nearby. This villa is amazing with stunning sunset views from the patio and rooftop (without the crowds!), a great jacuzzi/pool and a lot of space for a family. The villa was beautifully decorated and had a unique feel. Our teenage and adult kids loved to too! (The only thing that would have been nice is a dresser for clothes in the master bedroom. There is a wardrobe for hanging clothes, but we had to leave our folded clothes in suitcases). The villa is only a 10 minute walk to downtown Oia along a beautiful walk-street with ocean views. The property manager, Jackie, was efficient and very helpful. She coordinated our transfers from the airport and to the port, greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had a great stay.
