Couch is clearly very old you can feel the wood when you sit. The mattress is old, dirty, and can feel the springs when you lay down. Water in the shower doesnt get hot. And none of the employees speak english. The apartment and parking garage are secure. We never went to the pool. It is 1 block from the grocery store- they are closed on sundays fyi. We paid for 14 nights. The AC in the bedroom was not working, to get it fixed we had to be available at the apartment and our schedule was too tight for that. We did stay until 10am for the technician to show up, but he/she never did. The host offered us an other apartment which was super nice. The pool itself was really busy and consequently very dirty. Loved the restaurants in the area... would recommend REVEL! Very clean and cozy apartment located in the best area of Santo Domingo, where you can literally walk to everything. Luxury shopping and fine dinning just a few blocks away.
