Short walk to the beach, it’s literally across the road (30A). Also walking distance to a few restaurants & stores, the teens liked being independent. They biked to Seaside. The 6 of us (2 adults, 3 teens the size of adults and 1 child) lived comfortably in this unit for a week. The unit was clean, the master bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet space to store luggage to get them out of the way. The kitchen was stocked and we were able to cook in the unit almost as if we were home. Beach access was right at the end of the parking lot, making it an easy walk. The kids would run back and forth to the unit to grab lunch so we didn't have to pack up food to bring to the beach. They also loved having shops and an ice cream parlor within a less than 5 minute walk. Bronzini's pizza was a easy dinner solution after a long drive in and MiCasita's taco reminded us of the Mexican restaurants we are accustomed to in the Chicago area. We were also able to walk to get donuts and pick up fresh seafood to cook at home from Goatfeathers. The location was great! The beach was crowded but we never had an issue finding a spot to put up our tent. Renting umbrellas and chairs would be easier but with 6 of us, it's better we use our own stuff.
