I hate to leave bad reviews but I wish I had known this before we stayed here. Property is close walking distance to beach which was great! However, the property needs major updating. The downstairs bathroom had an open p-trap next to the washing machine which caused a terrible odor of urine. Any time we opened the door the smell was awful and lingered into the dining room & kitchen. The dryer is dated. I had to dry our loads at least 3 times before the clothes were dry. There were outlets uncovered which is a major hazard. The DVD player did not work in the guest room and the downstairs DVD player was old and made the TV screen look pink when a movie was playing. Thin walls…we could hear our neighbor going up and down the stairs and at night. Overall it’s close to the beach and bakery which was nice. But we would not stay here again. ##### Jennifer E. Jul 6, 2020 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Beautiful Home We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed, including a water and ice dispenser on the refrigerator. Blue Mountain Beach was busy but we really enjoyed the beach at Grayton State Park that is very close and also drove to St Andrews State Park twice. It would be nice if this unit had a couple of beach chairs. Overall we would recommend this home. ##### Anja C.
