Walk to the Public Beach Access on Dogwood Street Privacy, Luxury and Comfort Assured in this Home located in the Heart of Old Seagrove – Just Steps to the Beach, Seaside and Watercolor. The beautifully detailed home is just a short walk to Seaside, dining, and neighborhood access to the public beach. The house is on one of the largest lots in Old Seagrove and was designed to assure resort like living. The house was built to be in scale with the historic beach cottage neighborhood, to add spacious living areas for entertaining and the most up to date finishes and top quality appliances. The one level home features generous interiors and large porches on the front and back of the house. The lot is wooded and quiet. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature throughout the day. The front porch has four comfortable Adirondeck chairs best suited for enjoying morning coffee or an evening’s glass of wine. Enter the home in to the Great Room, clad in white shiplap, a soaring ceiling, windows and doors all of which allow you to feel as if the outside has come in! Comfortable seating for eight in the great room surrounds a 75” TV. The dining table comfortably seats ten and is open to the gourmet kitchen. A large Island centers the kitchen. A sub zero refrigerator and Wolf stove will please the most avid chef. Carrera Marble counters throughout. The house offers all custom cabinetry stocked with everything you need to enjoy your beach vacation. Sub Zero Refrigerator, Six burner Wolf Gas range, fully equipped kitchen with All Clad cookware, ample glassware and service for up to twelve people, Keurig coffee maker and so much more. The great room opens out on to an oversized screened porch. There is more comfortable seating and another dining area on the rear porch. The dining table can comfortably accommodate eight people. The screen porch overlooks the patio and pool which can be heated for your enjoyment even during the cool weather. You will find it hard to leave this gracious back yard and pool. Lounge, dine and BBQ in the privacy of your own back yard. The outdoor shower, custom built, is private and yet open to nature. No detail has been omitted. The Master Suite, with a King bed, has a soaring ceiling. There is a large TV in the master bedroom. The master bath, with an open, oversized walk in shower, is also luxurious. Twin sinks, a fully mirrored wall and designer quality lighting combine to add feeling of luxury in the space. The second bedroom, also generously sized, has a King Bed and lovely furnishings. The third bedroom is the room the kids will fight over with four built in bunks. The second full bath is as large and luxurious as the Master Bath. There is also an office if you absolutely cannot escape the demands of work. And while we love our dog, we understand that you, too, may not want to leave home without yours. We will consider a small (under 20 pounds, non shedding) dog. There is an additional fee for your pooch. We lived the layout and space. The main kitchen/great room is somewhat detached from the bedrooms which we love. The pool was heated nicely and a considerable size for this area - larger than usual, in our experience. The screened in porch is huge and the pool area can accommodate many people. VRBO map does a poor job depicting the actual location. We have friends who own homes in watercolor (adjacent subdivision) and we’re hanging out with them. When looking up this property, I saw there was a road connecting internally to Watercolor and Seaside. The house is literally one road off the beaten path which we love, since that area gets super packed with people. This property is the perfect balance of being surrounded by everything seaside has to offer but also allows you to stay just one road outside of the chaos. We absolutely loved this property and would stay here again. The host was the absolute best! ##### Nick C. Easy walk to a public beach area (Dogwood/Thyme Public Beach Access... don't ride bikes as there is no bike parking there). Easy walk or bike ride to Seaside center, although we chose to ride bikes every time. The house has 4 cruiser bikes that are perfect for getting around the town, and easy to park all over the city. I rented a bike with a child seat from Big Daddy's Bike shop (they were GREAT) because I didn't want to try to put one on any of the bikes at the house. The pool was BIG for Seaside and perfect! And the neighborhood was quiet at night, far enough away form all the Watercolor rentals, but close enough for every activity you can think of. GREAT for families. Absolutely loved our trip. The location is perfect as it’s just a few minute walk on a quiet street just far enough from the craziness of seaside but also close enough to quickly pop into town as you wish. The pool was a great size and we enjoyed grilling in the backyard. The house itself is stunning with many designer finishes and thoughtful design elements. The kitchen is well stocked. We really loved the smart layout of the house. There are essentially 3 stand alone areas of the house which are all interconnected through an excellent screened in patio. The main area of the house: kitchen, dining, living & 1/2 bath is one part, guest suite, bunk room and full bath are a second and the master laundry is the third. This would be really great for groups so people could sleep etc without being disturbed from the people in living/kitchen. It’s very clever. We tried to extend our stay at the end of our week but more guests were coming in on our departure day. We will definitely try to stay here again. Our dog also loved the fenced in backyard. Grace was very responsive when we had a question while staying at the property. The pool was so nice and pool service kept the pool in good shape. The decor in the house is so beautiful. We stayed with us, grandparents, and our three kids- the house was a great/easy layout for the week. We rented a golf cart and buzzed to seaside every single day for coffee or treats. The overall trip went great. House was very nice and beautiful. Grace was super responsive as a host and very helpful. Loved the heated pool and kitchen/main area for our family meals and hanging. Our family stayed for a week over spring break. The house has a unique layout, and it was perfect to enjoy the warm weather. All finishes are high end, beds and furniture were very comfortable, and the property was spotless. We found the location to be perfect - walking distance to the beach and town center, but far enough away from traffic and close to Publix. Grace is a fantastic host - communicative, flexible, and very helpful. The check in and out process was simple, and their inclusion of 4 bikes plus beach chairs and towels was also very nice. Beautifully decorated and appointed. Plenty of space and privacy for two couples to have their own space(and a kids bunk room we didn't use)and still enjoy common areas together. The kitchen is large and has all the essentials.....minus a Keurig which wasn't a big issue, we just made a pot of coffee & the four of us easily finished it off. The screen porch and sitting area was a great spot for cocktails and hanging out. The living room has the large screened TV and we enjoyed watching all our football teams.The house was Super clean, though a bit buggy....but it's Florida. The pool was a perfect respite after a day out biking, or strolling the beach. The home is well within walking distance to all things Seaside. We also rode bikes to Watercolor and had a great time. One of the bikes had a seat that would not stay in position...fortunately, my husband is a handy guy and he had some tools to fix it. All the food & drinks we had there were delicious....though we were really disappointed with Great Southern Cafe.....the food was mediocre, not hot and tasteless. The service was slow and unenthusiastic. It felt like all of it was just "phoned in," This place had many recommends but at this point it seemed to only be trading on its former reputation. Beware if you go. Bud and Allies was Outstanding and we ate multiple meals there everything was wonderful and the service was excellent. Stylish, clean, well-appointed and comfortable, it is just a short walk or bike ride through the neighborhood to Seaside's town center and the public beach. My wife loves the insanity of Seaside, and I like the quiet neighborhood of Old Seagrove, so it was a win-win for us with Seaside being a 3 minute bike ride away. We had everything we needed just like the listing stated. Nothing was sacrificed. We loved the pool, cooking in the kitchen, and being just minutes from downtown Seaside. The large front porch is a nice place to start and end the day. The main home is separate from the rooms, but accessed by a completely screened in back patio, which makes for the perfect indoor/outdoor living space. The built in bunk beds were perfect for the younger travelers and the two other bedrooms were nicely appointed. My wife loved the primary bedroom’s closet. Plenty of room for everyone to sit outside and enjoy the pool area. The neighborhood is beautiful and everything around town is accessible by golf cart, biking and walking. This home provides 4 adult sized bikes to use and a pull cart to take everything you need to the beach, including a cool cabana that is super easy to use. The only thing that was slightly frustrating is the use of the beach. This home is close to the public access (about 1/2 mile and an easy walk), but when you arrive you must set up within a small area so you don’t interfere with the many homes lining the beach. Their signs inform you they have a private beach all the way from the home to the water line, which means you have to find an area in front of the few vacant homes/lots to set up, otherwise you’ll have to walk down the beach until you find a more public friendly area. That is a very small complaint and out of the neighborhood’s control, and we still enjoyed the beach each day with no issues. The homeowner is very responsive and extremely accommodating. Came with our two and six year old. The pool was perfect and we loved the screened in porch on rainy days playing games. Since it was just the 4 of our our kids stayed in the bunk room and we stayed in the second king bed which allowed us to be in a contained space since they connect with the bathroom and each of these rooms has a deadbolt to the patio - I liked this because we have young kids and it felt safe with them not being able to access the pool should they wake up early. There is also a screen door with a high lock on the porch. The kitchen was wonderful. We love cooking and it was a great space. The house was located on a quiet dead end street. Very peaceful surroundings. A quick walk to the beach and seaside. We had a great time! ##### Jackie K.
