Landing gracefully on the rooftop of her next guest nest, she marveled at the proximity to the beach and to the community pool. “What a nice spot on the corner here!” Recently renovated and set on 3 floors, this 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom townhome has lots of space for your party of 6 to spread out and relax. Multiple balconies and plenty of windows provide views of the Gulf, the inviting community pool and surrounding area. “It's great having places for 4 cars underneath. And look at all of this fun stuff…4 bikes, beach cart, 6 chairs and an umbrella…all for guest use. The outdoor shower is a wonderful plus too with hot & cold water, solar motion-activated lights and a super convenient teak bench!” New Weber grill is located in covered parking area between outdoor shower and storage closet so cook-outs can happen rain or shine. Pinkie was totally impressed. Pinkie hopped up up the wooden steps and through the front door to take in the open living room, dining area and modern fully-equipped kitchen. With seating for 6 at the table and another 4 at the bar stools nestled under the quartz topped island, the scene stands ready for a lively gathering of friends and family. “I love these wooden beams on the ceiling!” said Pinkie out loud. “They go great with the wooden floors and really cozy the place up!” Wandering out onto the expansive balcony, Pinkie noted space for outdoor dining and sunset watching. Up on the third level you will find a family bunk room and a laundry tucked behind a sliding barn door. The airy master suite boasts shiplap walls and direct balcony access, providing gulf views above the treetops. Sweet! The recent addition of a new full bathroom means that each bedroom has its own private facilities in addition to the first-floor powder room. Pinkies friends that stay at Grace By The Sea will enjoy the thoughtfully well-stocked array of extras like books, board games, puzzles, card games, Xbox games and more! Blue Mountain Beach area attractions are all within reach…many even within walking distance. Named after the plentiful Blue Lupine flower that blankets the dunes here, this community is also the point of highest elevation in the county at a whopping 65 ft! This was our first trip to Blue Mountain and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. I was a little nervous renting this VRBO during Labor Day weekend with only two reviews at the time, but we had no issues. The unit was updated and looks to have been professionally decorated. It came with everything you could possibly need on vacation. Our family of 5 was very comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. It was, for the most part (ahem, looking at you neighbors), quiet too. Loved that we didn’t have to bring any beach gear as everything you could possibly need was included in the locked storage area underneath the building, right next to the outdoor shower. The public beach access is about a 2 minute walk to the corner. If you have a lot to bring, beware there are a lot of steps down to the very crowded beach. (There’s only a small section available for the public.) It wasn’t too bad though once we had our spot set up. The unit included a map of two other less crowded beach access points, but we didn’t make it to those this time. The pool was just steps away from the back door and was nice for breaks from the beach. There’s a couple ice cream shops and a breakfast sport within walking distance too. Restaurants and Publix are a short drive away. One little temporary hiccup with the thermostat was quickly addressed by property management. Highly recommended. ##### James S. It was easy to get to, just off of SH 83, which is one traffic light from SH 331 that connects I-10 to 30A. Good dining with Cowgirl Kitchen, Redfish Tacos, Blue Mountain Creamery and Blue Mountain Bakery is within walking distance. There are three beach access points within walking distance and the closest is less than a block away. The furnishings are fresh and clean. The beds are very comfortable. It looks like it was recently updated. Outside there is a community pool and Grace By The Sea has its own outdoor shower and grill. The check-in communication from the property manager was received early and was easily understood. We’ll be coming back again. ##### Kyle C. The house is situated perfectly with just a quick walk to the water (w/accessibility to 3 different public access points), as well as the nearby ice cream shop and bakery. Our family had all the space and amenities we needed. We particularly appreciated the outdoor shower (w/hot water!), washer/dryer, and kids games. The kitchen was well stocked w/everything we needed (incl. kids cutlery and plates/bowls x4). We didn't have a chance to use the outdoor table/chairs/umbrella, but imagine they would be wonderful (quiet w/great view). ##### Alison F.
