It is on the third floor so just be weary of lots of steps. A few minor inconveniences such as the kitchen had only one small skillet and there was no place to hang beach towels. The biggest issue was the whole private beach situation. I was harassed multiple times per day by people asking me where I was staying and what unit I was in. The portion of the beach allocated to the building is small relative to the number of renters and the chair/umbrella rental company takes up the entire beach first thing in the morning whether or not people are sitting in their chairs. Be fair warned that unless you rent from them you have no place to put your chains on the allocated private beach. I rented the condo last minute and on a very busy week. Renters were rude, entitled and immature. While that in itself is no fault of the owners or the property managers it seems that there would be a much better way to manage the situation. As a renter I was as entitled as others to access to the beach without being harassed. ##### Donna T. The Leeward was in the most perfect spot for a getaway for just the two of us but could have easily slept our family of four. Ocean view and ocean access were literally right outside our door. Shopping was all within walking distance. We did not access any rentals but very convenient location if you do use them. It is close to everything and has easy beach access with great views! This unit was great from a size and location perspective, but is definitely a bit dated. It looks like some superficial updates were made, but a few things that we didn’t love about it were: - The mattress was AWFUL. It creaked every time one of us turned over or moved and was hard and uncomfortable. The comforter was very thin and didn’t offer much by way of comfort. - The air vents were dirty - it looked to be black mold on and around them. - The carpet in the bedroom looks quite old and worn and is in need of replacement. - There are DVD players there which is great, but they are not Blu Ray players. - The water lines to the washer were installed incorrectly, so while I thought I was washing our clothes in cold water, we realized after a few loads that even though cold was selected, hot water was being used. This also left us with no hot water for showers. - There were ants in the kitchen and in the bunk beds. The property management company was wonderful and were quick to respond and remedy our issues. Overall, it is a great unit, it could just use some tweaks to make it outstanding! ##### Meredith Z. Everything was as described. Rentals were super easy. Impossible to beat the view from this condo. Swam with sea turtles every morning. No crowds. Exactly what we needed.
