Enjoy the sunset drinks at Bud' N Alleys, lunch time specials at Seagrove Market or elegant fine dining at Surfing Deer restaurant just minutes away! Homecoming Cottage has been recently renovated and is a 2 story, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with an enclosed front porch, outdoor patio, grilling area and a private heated pool. Recent renovations at Homecoming Cottage include updated kitchen, outdoor shower, and an added grilling deck. The home features all hardwood floors, granite countertops, and is well appointed throughout. Homecoming Cottage has ample parking, bike rack, and fire pit, along with stackable washer/dryer unit, complimentary Wi-Fi and cable. The family area includes a 50” LED TV-DVD, working fireplace, a comfortable settee, side chairs, coffee table, several end tables with lamps. An open kitchen and dining combo adjoins an airy living area. The kitchen has been recently renovated with stainless steel appliances and includes a cooker range, microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and wine cooler. At the end of the kitchen is the dining area which contains a custom-made 7' wooden dining table, benches and chairs. Behind the kitchen is a king bedroom which leads to an additional bedroom featuring two built-in twins overlooking the private pool. The king bedroom has a 39” LED TV and a walk-in closet. There is a private bathroom for this area with a tub/shower and sink. The second floor contains 2 more bedrooms--one featuring a king-sized bed, dresser, 39" LED TV and a walk-in closet and the second bedroom which is ideal for children and offers a pair of twin beds, dresser, built-in closet space, and a wall-mounted 39” LED TV-DVD player. Both have access to a bathroom with a full walk-in shower and double vanity sink. A 10' x 18' pool is just steps outside the back door (equipped with a pool safety alarm) in the private fenced back yard. Pool heat option available. The back yard features an overlook deck with a grilling/barbecue area, an outdoor shower area, an outdoor seating area with chaise lounges and table seating for four on the brick paved pool deck. The relaxing mini pool in the backyard was perfect in the afternoons. Morning walks were a delight around the sandy streets and food and shopping is literally a short bike ride away. The bikes on site were great and the pool lovely. Beds enough for all. Our only minor thing was it was a little sandy when we got there and the vacuum didn’t work. Perfect Vacation!! Perfect house for our family of five. Clean and well stocked. Boardwalk to the beach was a 3-minute walk and the shops and restaurants at Seaside also very walkable (5-8 minutes). Publix was a quick drive as well. We really liked having the pool on property. With kids aged 15, 17 and 20, not everybody wanted to do the same thing at the same time (i.e. beach, Seaside, or pool). We were there in late March, so the heated pool was a nice option on one really windy day and cooler mornings/evenings. One suggestion would be to bring your favorite pillow. Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay here and loved the location. The street is gorgeous and it’s a short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood & a great price for walking distance to Seaside. Lots of stairs down to the beach from the walkway. Just FYI. Pool was great for kids that were tired of the beach. House was very quaint and our kids loved the twin bed rooms. Short walk to beach, we rented bikes and went all over, even over to Grayton beach. The pool is fantastic, nice dining room the we used for every meal because of Covid (we did take-out or cooked). Grill was in great shape and we even used the firepit. Bedrooms are perfect and having a separate thermostate for up and down is grat because it was naturally hotter upstairs. My only complaint was it said on the listing there were beach towels but there were not. Luckily we had a few with us, but I would have brought some if I had known. Also in the picture it shows a couch and three chairs but there were only 2, one of us had to sit on a dining chair to watch TV. Also I have been renting houses for years now and I guess it is common now to have only the bare essentials in the rentals...I wish renters realized how appreciated it is to have a few extra dishwasher tabs or garbage bags etc. I guess people steal stuff. It is the extra touches that make it seem more homey.. We had a great time though and if you are thinking about renting this house you will too!! ##### Camy P. We had a wonderful time visiting this adorable home just blocks away from Seaside, FL. Josephine was wonderful to work with and was super responsive.
