Fantastic home and perfect location

Can’t say enough good things - perfect location and home was beautifully kept. Close to our favorites Red Bar and Chiringo. Close enough to walk to Watercolor and Seaside. Plenty of room and the beds were so comfortable! Out second time staying!

Amazing experience

This was by far the best Vrbo experience any of us have ever had. The home was spotless, comfortable, had extra amenities and was the perfect location. We received immediate responses anytime we had questions. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc for our use. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Gorgeous views and beautiful home. I can’t think of anything that would make it better!

Great stay with family and friends

Property was great! The house was beautiful and very comfortable. House was well equipped and advertised accurately. Beach views everywhere and we enjoyed starting and ending our day outside on the porch with oceanviews. The location was great and within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Beach access was great too. Grayton is a wonderful place to stay. The host was prompt and very helpful answering questions. Overall a fantastic trip with family and friends celebrating our daughter who leaves soon for college. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home.

Property was nice. The oven had some issues and one small refrigerator wasn't working. One of the air conditioners was also having problems.

Time at the house

Stay was great, but there was construction on the house next door so saws and power tools started up at 7;30 am. Not fun. Also, two of our vehicles got nails in tires.

Girlfriend’s Getaway

We found the view and location to be amazing. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! There were a few issues that should be addressed. The kitchen was lacking a few needed utensils...garlic press and lemon squeezer to name a few. We purchased additional coffee cups to add to the ones in the cupboard, as we were a party of twelve and needed a few more. The 2nd floor AC seemed to not cool as it should, and the slip covers on the living area couches are ready for a good seasonal wash. Other than the above mentioned, the overall experience was exceptional! The manager was quick to respond and bent over backwards to be helpful with our Check-in.

Good stay at Tequila Mockingbird

This property is just as advertised online. Large and comfortable and homey. Beautiful ocean view. Be aware that because the house is on multiple levels, there is a lot of noise in the bedrooms from others walking above you in their own bedrooms. The location makes it super accessible to the ocean, but know that it is definitely next to the Red Bar in a crowded area in the evenings. Lots of partying going on around. Golf cart was a nice addition. We never used the bikes so can't speak to those. The mattresses could definitely use updating as they are softer than expected, but the linens were nice. The pool table was a main reason we chose this particular property. Sadly, the cues are all broken and several of the pockets had holes in them. So that was a bummer. And they didn't provide any beach towels, so we had to purchase (and ultimately left at the property). All in all, this is a nice property in a great area.

Details Overlooked

A big factor in renting this property was the availability of a golf cart. This is especially true with the distance to the beach and the traffic in the area. We arrived to find the golf cart was inoperable. I called the number for the property manager and while she was sympathetic, she basically said since it was on a Friday afternoon there was no one available to repair it. Also, two of the bath rooms had no towels whatsoever. Once reported the towels were brought over in a relatively short period of time. Another annoying oversight was the fact several of the remote controls had no batteries. Two of the TVs were completely unplugged and their components disconnected. While a minor problem, it all added up to be quite annoying. The property is becoming worn, and need some updating. The master bed definitely needs a new mattress. Overall the property was spacious and in a great location. However for the rates charged there were too many overlook details

Only obstacle was the oven did not work and bottom of refrig- which we did not discover till things were unfrozen annd had to be thrown away. Overall I would recommend this place. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. With 11 of us living room could have been a little bigger but it overlooked the golf on 4th floor. Elevator worked great and pool was warm when we got there a plus.
