I would say the beach access closet to the house is not the best due to having to walk through brackish water to get to the beach. We used the Santa Clara beach access which is about a mile away. The location was perfect, easy to get to "hot spot" of Seaside without being the thick of things. Access to the beach was as expected, we needed to drive, golf cart or bike but that was easy to do and the beach was beautiful. The 4 bikes and 6 seater golf cart were two big reasons we chose this property. Home layout, furniture and beds were cozy and easily accommodated our two families. We found two beach chairs in the storage outside, that was a nice surprise. The new restaurants, cafes and shops that are just outside the neighborhood entrance were fantastic! Highly recommend the taco shop. Just down the street toward the East was a another great waterfront find for hanging out enjoying refreshments - good for adults and kids. ##### Lilith C. I hesitate to give this the well-deserved praise because I don’t want it to get booked !!! This place exceeded our expectations. The house is immaculate. Someone had posted the furniture seemed “worn” and needed “new paint”, so perhaps they have; but I didn’t see anything wrong with the paint or furniture. Everything was well thought out. The beds are beyond comfortable; the AC works like a charm to the point you’re almost cold. I personally would prefer cold over hot! The grill was perfect and the area is just jaw-dropping gorgeous! It’s like being in your own personal paradise for the week! The area is wonderful with a beautiful shopping place right in the front of the neighborhood. My teenage kids loved they could get coffee or ice cream by themselves. The Local Cantina restaurant is a must! It’s in a gated community so you don’t constantly have people walking by, which we liked. However, there is a house being built across the street and two doors down so there are construction vehicles parked in front of the house all day which makes getting in and out of the driveway challenging if you have a full size vehicle. Aug 2, 2022 #### Accessible Accommodations We took both sets of grandparents. 2 of our family members need handicap accommodations. This home is one of the only houses in the area that is nice, had a golf cart, had an accessible suite/bathroom & living space on the same floor (from our extensive search). The vacasa team was very responsive to us pre booking to answer any questions we had. There are 3 stairs on the front porch, but they are wide enough for a walker and short enough for family lifting. We loved how cute the area was and how quiet. There was a house across from us being constructed, but it wasn’t extremely loud. We also met a couple families who live in the neighborhood full time. We loved that the kitchen had everything we needed. There were also games and books. We did purchase detergent, dish soap and toilet paper for the week. No the house isn’t right on the beach, but it’s very close to a lot. There are many public beach accesses near the house just a short bike or golf cart ride. On days our accessible needs family members went to the beach with us we went to the Santa Clara beach access which is accessible.
