The beach gear selection was great and appreciated. The mornings on the porch were nice too-some cozy throws would be nice for those visiting in the winter time. The pantry’s little hidden nook was a cute hideaway for the kids. Surprisingly, the toilet paper and paper towels were low quality. A trip to the store remedies that, but in a home so well thought out, it didn’t seem appropriate. ##### Fay W. Home was wonderful, extremely comfortable beds. The only complaint was the maid service was parked outside of the home 40 minutes prior to check out waiting for us to checkout at 10am.That made for a stressful departure and was not enjoyable-felt like a damper on the end of the trip. The community pool is fantastic for all ages, and the boardwalk takes you out to a great beach near Deer Lake State Park. There are no crowds at this location as there are no high rises nearby. The house is decorated to perfection. There were bikes available, beach chairs, cleaning supplies, and a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were also very clean and comfortable. There was only one thing that bothered me. There was black mold growing on the shower downstairs. It was on the ceiling and starting to grow on the walls. My daughter and I are sick now with a sinus infection. We are the only two people in our family that took a shower in this bathroom. I would definitely return to this house if the mold is taken care of. ##### Amanda J. Pros: home is nice and very accommodating for kids and families. The bikes were a nice touch, the neighborhood pool was fantastic, the location near the Hub and rentals was great, and the beach was very private and an easy bike ride away. Cons: if you have very small children, this may not be the best. the beach is a bike ride away, then a nice walk down a boardwalk. It was easy for us as we have 10-11-12 year olds. The neighborhood does NOT allow rented golf carts and it was not advertised, however they were not strict with the rules as long as we didn't abuse it. The cleaning company doesn't do a GREAT job, but it was ok. ##### Curtis S. The furniture in the family room was inadequate. The sofa was worn out, lumpy, and covered with a cheap slipcover that was too small for the cushions. It was something you might find in a college boy’s house. There were two occasional chairs that were suitable for a waiting room but not comfortable for a family wanting to watch a two-hour movie together. The house seemed unprepared for guests. Movies, board games, and books would be nice on those rainy days when the beach is not an option. As a lot of guests fly, lugging dominoes and puzzles is not feasible. . I would also recommend a small first aid kit. We had a minor cut, and a band-aid would have been helpful. This house is quite a distance from the beach.
