Pack your favorite swimming suit and take advantage of the direct and private access to the beach from both the ground level and second floor of the home. This marvelous retreat has decks on all three floors with over 1,000 square feet of just porch! Admire beautiful Gulf views no matter which deck you are on. The second-floor deck hosts an outdoor dining area and an inviting seating area with comfortable sofas and the third-level deck has plenty of chairs overlooking the water. This air-conditioned retreat offers a breezy open floor plan with wall-to-wall windows allowing you to admire the Gulf even from the inside of the home. The inviting living area has three comfortable sofas and a large smart TV with cable. The gorgeous marble dining table seats eight people comfortably and there is space for two more at the kitchen island. Speaking of the kitchen, it's been beautifully appointed with stainless steel appliances, including a French-door fridge, built-in stove and oven on the island, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and all the cookware needed to prepare delicious meals and beach snacks. When ready to venture out, your home is located just minutes away from the shops of Grand Boulevard, Vue on 30A, and all of the galleries, shops, and restaurants of Gulf Place Town Center. We've stayed here for 8 years and have seen the quality go down despite the recent renovations.. 1\. Public Beach / Not Private - You're paying "private beach" prices for a house that now basiclaly faces a public beach. Lots of people come too. They give you a "private property" sign to put out that everyone ignores. The local Sherrifs Deputies don't enforce the idea that the beach is for private use of owners and renters. 2\. Dirty Linens & Stained Sheets - The linens had sand, stains or hair from previous guests in most of the beds. The washer and dryer either don't properly wash the linens when the housekeepers use them or the housekeepers aren't using them but there definitely shouldn't be sand and loose body hair in the sheets. 3\. Broken Deck Doors and Locks - The doors to the deck need to be repaired with functioning knobs and locks. They can get stuck especially for kids. The repairman acknolwedged this however the owner appears to be neglecting this property hoping people will keep renting it. 3\. Washer / Dryer - They're cheap quality and we had some clothes stained from them so just be mindful they aren't trustworthy. Maybe they're fine for just towels or something but they don't appear to be high quality machines capable of holding up to the rigors of lots of use. The location and beauty of the area is why most people come to The Sandbox but I think it's an open question whether the diminished experience is worth the high cost. ##### Scott G.
